I'm sure everyone is as disappointed as I am over the West Virginia
loss to Louisville today. Even when they were up by 20 points, I kept
thinking that there was no way this group of overachieving white guys
was going to be allowed to beat an all-black squad coached by the slimy
Rick Pitino. My point about whites not being allowed to play defense
was certainly apparent in this game. If the game had been officiated
properly, every Louisville player would have fouled out before
halftime. There was so much physical contact by Louisville that wasn't
called, and several no contact, non-fouls called on West Virginia's
white players, that it almost seemed like the refs had read my previous
post about this subject and decided to show us all just how much they
can effect the outcome of these games. Now there is really no team left
to root for, with the possible exception of Wisconsin. Once again,
March Madness turns out to be very disappointing for those of us who
like a little diversity in our basketball players.
