Actually, Pettis said he is Hispanic in a recent interview.

Still hope Guida can pull it out. Pettis is flashy but certainly not unbeatable.

Pettis will win. Maldonado will KO Kingsbury. Like Credeur over Herman, Jorgensen UD's Stone,Grispi, Bailey, Nijem, Stephens, Harvison, O'neil and Duran are my picks to win. I like Guida bet on him against Gomi but I think Pettis will win.

Bailey won't last in mma, He is a wrestling specialist whose wrestling isn't very good compared most of MMA.

The two reason it won't be bad if Ramsey was to win are 1 Tony came off as a hole on the show and 2 Ramsey's only loss was to my undefeated prospect Gordon Bell, who submitting Ramsey in 31 seconds. I personally feel that the quality of the fighters on TUF has gone down the last two years.

Maldonado is white and he got robbed. Oh well, I can't win them all.

Guida handled Pettis pretty easily. 3-0.

He did not get robbed. Although Kingsbury's take downs amounted to nothing and Maldonado utilized great sweeps the take downs still count and hence he scored more points. The stand up was pretty much tit for tat, even if Maldonado did a lot more damage.

Kingsbury won a UD but I can't see him hanging with anyone in the top 10 yet. But he is in a good camp and seems to be getting better with every fight. Best of luck to him.

You have to take into account the arbitrary "octagon control" and the fact that take downs are weighted very, very heavily.

Reason 4: Nijem needs to support his White girl.. what a "sweet" promo.

Yep, it was very obvious. His girl looks latin to me too.

Got to admire Clay Guida. Relentless and tough, took some swift punches and a damn nice left kick to the face.
No matter, had the game plan against a skillful fighter and went in, executed the game plan and took him out.
Guida realized he couldn't and shouldn't stand and bang with Pettis. Smart move.
He almost blew the 3 rounds of solid work when he got caught under during a roll and Pettis had his back, nice escape by Guida.
A bit sloppy, but his high energy and tough chin gets him through. Frankly, I didn't think he'd beat such a technical and taller fighter.
Guida is very entertaining to watch from a fan's perspective. Perhaps this is why people like the guy.

As far as the TUF final, didn't really have a care but the promo of Nijem running in Utah with his white girl didn't really endear me to him.
Ferguson will be a solid middle of the pack fighter with more experience and training. He has some nice wrestling skill and seems like he can take a punch (he will start taking more soon).
And dish one out as the knockout was flush solid.

I know, almost anyone can melt someone with a perfect punch. But hey, got to hand it to him, he did so against the TUF 'favorite' on the big stage.

Nijem looked inconsolable after the loss. Like most things in life, sometimes the best experience is self-experience.
He could be all the better in the long run after the loss. We'll see..

Guida was effective, but hardly entertaining. As a former wrestler I often times criticise wrestlers for their boring style. Guida never came close to finishing the fight and Pettis had a armbar and back control and kind of blew it. As MMA grows I hope wrestling is rewarded less and attempting finishes are rewarded more.

How Kingsbury won that decision is beyond me. Compu strike numbers show Maldonado outstriking him and he even swept Kingsbury a couple of times. BS decision

It funny that somehow you think Johnson won his fight against Torres, and somehow Guida didn't. There are plenty of black people that do the so called lay and pray and nobody calls them on is. McKee, Phil Davis, Shamar Bailey, Daniel Cormier, Jason Norwood, Michael Johnson, and Jonathan Brookins. Guida in that fight was active from the top and was trying to advance his position and look for a submission. Pettis's sub defense is verygood.
