TD Matt Jones! and they gave him praise, too: "6'6, 218lbs and runs 40 in 4.3s, he right now has a way with these corners!"

so far 3 catches for 38 yards and a TD. Stokley has 3 catches for 45 yards.

Great to hear Jones being complimented for a change. By the way anyone been having trouble logging on for the past hour or so?

Jordy Nelson is on the field quite a bit for the Packers today, and it appears that Aaron Rogers looks to him first. I would too, with all of the dropped passes by the other Green Bay receivers. Seriously, they've dropped a good 3 balls, wide open. One of them resulted in an interception. Just...bad.

Reed Doughty not starting today against the Cowboys. Rookie Chris Horton plays in his place. We all saw this coming, right?

LOL

I'm checking fantasy stats on Yahoo for the early games and I noticed this gem, for the Cardinals v Jets game:

Top Performer
NY Jets
Brett Favre 24/34 289 yards, 6 TDS, 1 INT

Arizona Cardinals
Edgerrin James 9 rushes, 29 yards, 2 TD

These are Kurt Warner's stats, for the Cardinals:
40/57 472 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

How is Warner not the top performer for the Cardinals??
TWENTY-NINE YARDS??? Give me a break.

Can't wait to see what's said about Favre's monster 6-TD game.

They actually went out of their way on the Fox postgame show to list Warner as one of today's 'Duds,' the other two being Marion Barber and Ryan Grant.

Did anybody see the Jets - Cardinals game? I checked the stats and there were two other quarterbacks who threw for 3 INT today - R. Fitzpatrick, 21/35, 156 yds, 1 TD, 3 INT in Cincinnati's loss to Cleveland; and Aaron Rodgers, 14/27, 165 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT in Green Bay's loss to Tampa Bay. Why wouldn't one of those two be considered be more of a 'dud' than Warner, who threw for more yards than both of them combined??

Was his performance so bad that the stats are not an accurate reflection of it? Why are they out to vilify this guy? Edited by: White Shogun

Shouldn'tthe "dud" should be the Cardinals defense that surrendered 56 points? A black QB who threw for 472 yards and 2 TDs and whose team put up 35 points aint ever gonna be called a dud. Every other player on the team would be vilified before he would.

well, NFL.com had Warner listed along with FAvre and LArry Johnson in their poll for best player of the early games, for what it's worth.

What is it then, Don? Why vilify Warner more than even other white quarterbacks? Is he that 'white bread' that he deserves extra criticism? Can't have other white stock boys thinking they can play quarterback in the NFL ya know.

472 yards is one of the top yardages in league history. I didn't hear the Fox caste clowns and their reasoning, but I know all of them dislike Matt Leinart a lot more than they do Kurt Warner.

LOL, good stuff, backrow! NFL thinks his performance warrants mention as one of the best players in today's games, but Fox thinks he's a dud?
