Ghetto Passes?

I think this is the place for this topic. What do you think of the constant talk among black rappers and sports figures who when commenting on (cool) whites statements or songs, as in the case of Eminem, Kid Rock, and although not exactly the same situation, Larry Bird, ask each other whether or not these whites still deserve their ghetto passes, or whether they have just lost it. I get tired of hearing blacks contemplate whether these people should be allowed into their respective inner cities without someone killing them, and they assume that they want to come back. Bird got a lot of talk from blacks when he said their should be more white NBA stars. I was a huge fan of Bird, and I quit watching the NBA when he retired. As for Kid Rock and Eminem, believe me I am no fan of them, but I wanted to see what you all think about this phenomena.

Whites are kidding themselves, if they think they can ever be more
"black" than the real thing. I worked with a bunch of blacks back when
Larry Bird was in his prime, and every one of them hated him. In fact,
I've never met a black basketball fan who didn't hate Bird. As for
entertainers, what astounds me still (though I don't know why, at this
point) is the fact that white people seek out the approval of the most
ignorant individuals in our society, and place great importance on
their imbecilic expressions and bizarre fashions. Even those I respect
as great talents, like actor Johnny Depp, are completely irrational
about this. Depp gave an incredible statement that was published in
Esquire a number of years ago, where he denied he was white, and said
his then-flame Kate Moss was not white either, because she had a "high
water booty." Madness. No matter how hard any self-hating white tries,
blacks will not respect him and will treat him the same way they treat
everyone; with arrogance and impoliteness.

In fact trying to be black is a sign of weakness. Black's know you're trying to appease them and it's an opportunity to exploit you. They much more respect a white person who is confident in his whiteness and doesn't need or want black "respect".

Ghetto passes? I'd pass on the pass. The white propensity for emulating and worshipping an inferior culture is very disturbing. There is a madness amongst our people and I don't know the reason.

It's crazy to see it for sure. The idea that some whites actually need a ghetto pass is what they argue over, like that's a coveted prize. I guess like you say, they are seeking some kind of extra acceptance, hoping people will think differently about them when its all a pipe dream.
