There is a very good article by Roger McGrath in the lates TAC. It's about how hispanica have displaced blacks in Los Angeles. High schools that were white in Compton during the 30s and 40s became black in the 50s, then Mexican during the 80s. Here is the thread:

Incidentally, Washington High, was Hugh MacElhenny's high school. Once I saw him interviewed by Roy Firestone about 15 years ago. They showed a team photo from 1947. George Washington High's football team with Hugh MacElhenny as the star was all white.

Roger McGrath has written many fine articles for Chronicles magazine. One was about the rapid replacement of the many great white athletes in L.A. and environs by blacks.


He also spoke at the '04 AmRen Conference. He would be an excellent contributor to this website, whether openly or anonymously.
