I'm pumped up for this weekend. Just like in the French National Champs, we will get to see Christophe running in all three events. If nothing else, I would love to see a new p.b. in the 200 if he is not too tired. We need a link to this meet!

Lemaitre is showing that is top10 worldwide without doubt.
His times are constant between 9.9x and 10.0x , it is fantastic.
He have get his best form in Daegu and to try get about 9.90 it would be WONDERFUL

I just missed the race. Does anyone have a video? I'm watching the meet now but I guess I turned it on just a few minutes too late. What a great performance by Christophe. He has broke his p.b. twice alread in the 100 this summer. Hopefully we haven't seen anything yet! Congrats to "The Master".

I thought Dariusz Kuc also looked very good despite falling asleep in the blocks. He ran a 10.24which is agood time and shows he is in fine form despite a horrible reaction time! Here are the results from the mens 100 finals. Lemaitre is incredible!

GoChristophe, i watched the race, he's awesome.<div>
</div><div>Another great European athlete who's about to dominate fields (like our boxers, basketball players etc) that the average liberal white American believes only a Negro can do good .</div>

Thanks by RT white lightning.
Like i imagined his reaction time was very good, hehe was THE BEST in the race, amazing,
Only 1year ago his RT was really bad 0.18-0.20
So between other things, his times are improving

umm Twinsen9 i doubt about sub20 tomorrow because his curve usually is bad, of course i hope that he get it, but i have many doubts.
But i think that new record france(20.16) is very possible

As far as the prediction contest goes. I'm still staying with my 9.85 by the world champs. Christophe is only a tenth away now and his confidence grows with each victory. The guy just has ice in his veins. He thrives on the competition similar to how V.Borzov was many decades ago. Pepe is putting fear in other sprinters with his ability. They are starting to doubt whether they can beat him or not. This is similar to the advantage guys like Bolt, Powell and Gay have. He is not on their level yet but within a few more years I see him being able to challenge any of the big three.

Viva Lemaitre. I still can't believe I missed the race live. I'm so frustrated although I'm very happy with the result.

I don't understand how Christophe is so good NOW, and Chambers and Obikwelu are sooooooooooooooo far away from Christophe !<div>

White lightning i think that Bolt is main rival of Lemaitre, and very possible Yohan Blake.
You look really: Powell i think that this year is his last year in ELITE. I think that next year Lemaitre can defeat him. And Gay every year is more and more damaged. I think that in 2013 he can to be very touched. And Lemaitre in 2013 im sure that he will be in 9.8x.
Sure the future is for Lemaitre(Bolt only will run until 2016 in his own words)

Twisen9 is logical that Lemaitre is very far of them.
Obikwelu had big problems with injuries last years and in adittion he has almost 33 years¡¡¡
And Chambers had his moment several years ago, and he has 33 years too.
Soon they will retire.

I really want to watch this race. Has anyone posted a link anywhere yet?

Yes I agree with you Zellgadiss. I think Bolt, Blake and Gay are going to be his toughes competition. They can run these times like a jog in the park. Christophe will have to get his times down to where he is running consistant 9.80's by the London Olympics next year if he is going to challenge for a medal. One thing to remember guys is that Pepe is only barely 21 years of age!

Six good news for Christophe :

- new record (and french record of course...)
- good reaction time (again...)
- he's the best in Europe, and it's indisputable now !
- FIVE sub 10 in Christophe's career
- Lot of point for his team (France) with the first place
- And... 9,95 = his top 10 is now SUB 10 !!!!!

Top 10 CL today :

1. 9.95
2. 9.96
3. 9.97
4 &amp; 5 : 9.98
6. 10.00
7. 10.02
8. 10.03
9. 10.04
10. 10.06

Total : 99.99 !!!!</span><div>
</span></div><div>YES !!!!!</span></div>

Sometimes I still think I'm dreaming when I watch this kid. I always knew it was possible for white sprinters to compete in my mind despite people saying that I was crazy. Lemaitre came onto the scene and made believers out of even the harshest skeptics. The guy is a gamer! He just gets in done and he loves the pressure of winnning and being the best.

They don't call him "White Lightning" for nothing.

So time will tell what the next few years bring but I believe that Christophe can eventually be the fastest man on the planet. I think he is starting to believe it to. Hopefully it is just a matter of time.

I will predict a new p.b. tommorow of 20.03 in the 200 meters! I would love to see him go sub 20 though. He needs to run that curve hard. Come on Christophe!Edited by: white lightning
