hmm, Chris Long seems to have gained lots of momentum as a number 1 pick, and also as much as i'd love to see Craig Steltz picked in the first round, this is not going to happen. best we can hope for is mid second.

While I agree that Long is probably a lock for a top 3 pick now, don't count out Steltz yet. He is the consensus #1 at the moment as far as Strong Safties go, and there is still a lot of time for him to make a move into the late first round/early second. At this point last year Dwayne Jarrett was a lock to be a top #15 pick, so people can still move quite a bit up and down a board. If Steltz has a great combine/pro-day, a team hasa real need at Strong Safety and Phillips and perhaps Morgan go off the board earlier then Steltz may get the call next.

I don't think we can make a true Mock Draft until after the Combine.

Do you any teams not afraid to buck the system will take a chance on Danny Woodhead in the first? I'm thinking if any team does it; it will be Al Davis and the Raiders; however I think that might be a bit too high for the phenom from Chadron. Maybe the Raiders trade down with the Giants and take Danny there? Thoughts, suggestions, feedback. Maybe wishful thinking, but it is a sheer travesty if he isn't.

Dude, what are you saying!?

There is little chance of this guy getting drafted AT ALL...let alone the first round! I mean, come on man, the kid wasnt even invited to the combine and has little-to-no buzz from ANY team, let alone a 1st round selection.

Trust me, there is almost a 100% chance of him NOT getting drafted. It's sad, but true. The best we can hope for in the super-biased NFL is Danny catching on through free agency as a special teams player.

Seriously, you have to be real. White RBs, DBs, and WRs, no matter how talented or productive, don't get drafted. Chad Hall from Air Force (who won't get drafted either) has a 10 times greater chance of getting drafted than Danny W.

You need to really think about these things before you create posts that make no sense...Edited by: Thrashen

Easy on the newbie. Wait a few posts before you throw out the troll label. Everybody has their own opinions even a "whigger" like me

I'm sure he meant Danny Woodhead and Chadron State, BTW we have a huge thread on Danny Woodhead, 120+ posts and 5400+ looks.

I really dont think he's a troll, just stupid. I mean, holy sh*t, I love white skill players as much as anyone here....but Danny Woodhead in the first round? Wow, I've never heard someone more misinformed about football in general, caste or otherwise.

Listen I made a contribution towards the dialogue. I am not a troll and I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU REREAD THE TERMS OF SERVICE. If you don't know who Danny Woodhead is; I don't blame you. I didn't know about this guy till yesterday. However, before flaming me and judging me, maybe you should do some research on your own.

You tell me this guy isn't going to be even drafted after watching the video? If you do, then you've exposed yourself as the complacent white pessimist you are. Live with that.
Thank you moderator for coming to my aid, I suggest sanctions against Van Slyke and Mr. Pessimist for violation of rules and generally having a poor attitude towards mr. Woodhead. status in draft.

how's that for terms of service: you are an idiot.

and what contribution have you made to the dialogue to begin with? you must be a huge fan of Danny's to misspell both his last name and his college...

I see that though you are somewhat articulate you CANT READ. i said I didn't know who he was until I came to this site yesterday. I found a video of him and did my research and now I am sold he is a blue chip. He cuts better than Gayle Sayers. So instead of resorting to insults on a public forum, man up.

ps you have been reported for violation of discussion rulesEdited by: WhiteSoldier

Im not stupid, just wishful thinking I guess. Trust me on this, some team is going to take a chance on Danny and when he tears through the league like Adrian Peterson did last year; I expect an apology

Oooookey, now, temper (is that a word?) your enthusiasm, friend, Danny while having potential to be a brian westbrook-type of player somwhere down the line will never tear the league like Peterson because he'll never get that opportunity. I suggest you read threads and post on the forum to get a better feel of how white athletes are treated each and every year instead of going through the "terms of services" and such...

Hey I thought this place was where we come together to support white athletes. Danny's been getting knocked on his whole life, he doesnt need us to say, 'oh well he didnt get combine invite, nobody will take him you idiot'. Thats just wrong. Please watch the video I found, danny is a beast and he certainly doesnt need Van slyke and Backdoor on a WHITE SITE selling him SHORT. just my two cents. If i'm an idiot for supporting a white athlete then sue me. You don't have to be an NFL scout to see Danny's potential. I mean he won the equivalent of the Heisman TWO years straight and now some guy like Van Slyke is going to say he cant make it? It makes me sick to my stomach that so called white nationalists are selling Danny short. While I do agree with your assessment of white players getting the short end of the stick, I don't think a white player of Danny's caliber at RB has ever been seen in the last 30 years. I believe an opportunity will present itself and Danny will seize it. Just watch the clip friend. Besides if a black man can become the president, there is no reason a White RB can't be drafted in the first day

I watched those low-quality video a thousand time. Nobody here is trying to say Woodhead isn't good or not deserving of a chance. Let's be realistic. He's probably going to be measured at 5'8-5'7 at Nebraska pro day and weight under 200 pounds. Past heisman candidates like the chargers's darren sproles measured at about that size and have similar speed and skills as Woodhead, played division 1 football, was Big12 offensive player of the year and was still only a 4th rounder. Do you think even thought he is CFB all-time leading rusher, that an undersized white division 2 runner will have the chance to be drafted?

Ever heard of Duce Staley? BYU's winner of the Doak Walker award (about 1,800 yards his senior season, with more than 7 yards per carry) was drafted in the 7th round(he was hurt, but other runner such a virginia tech Lee Suggs and miami Willis McGahee were also hurt coming into drafts and drafted much higher with a lesser pedigree) and out of the league by his 2nd or 3rd year.Edited by: Gi-15

Danny stats make him the undisputed rushing leader though. How can you even compare him to Sproles? I said from the onset I don't know much about college ball, but surely some team will take a chance on Danny. He's white and great, and some team will take him to fill the seats from a marketing perspective like the Jags did with Matt Jones. There is a premium on gifted white skill position athletes because we fill the stadiums.Edited by: WhiteSoldier

To be drafted in the NFL as a White Running Back you have to have the size to be converted to Fullback, or you have to be a complete Freak athlete. Woodhead is neither. You have to look at it realistically, he will probably get a shot as an undrafted free agent, and then it will be up to him to make it impossible for the coaches to cut him. That is of course if he is given a fair shake, which most White skill position players are not. People here at Caste Football aren't being negative about Danny Woodhead, they are just being aware of the reality of the Caste system. If Danny Woodhead were to get drafted in the first round, you can take it ot the bank that whomever made that call would be fired before the second round was completed. It just isn't even in the realm of posibility. I'd say the absolute earliest that a team might take a shot would be the fourth and that is probably as close to 100% certain as you can get without hitting it that it will not. The reason being is that 1-3 round picks get guaranteed money and nobody is going to risk that on a guy who is percieved to be too small, too small-time and too white to play in the NFL. My best case scenario is that he runs a sub 4.3 40 at Nebraska's pro-day (which will draw all of the scouts, so its a very positive thing that they are allowing him to participate there) and shows good skills catching the ball out of the backfield, and then someone decides to take him in the 6th or 7th round as a 3rd down back/return specialist. Worst case scenario is that he runs a 4.55+ and doesn't even get invited to a camp.

Please, let's all just ignore this subject, I think we all know (accept one person) the reality of the situation is very grim.

Look, Danny is awesomely talented....but we've seen this same scenario play out 1,000 times with 1,000 white RBs (and WRs). This time, Danny has even less of a chance than many other white RBs of the past. It's called anti-white descrimination, it's called the caste system...and nothing involving this concept shocks me anymore.
