Here's a better late than never preview of the Saints. After 6 games, the Saints look very run-of-the-mill. Could sneak into the playoffs but likely not a threat for a deep playoff run. Let's see if they hit their usual demographics totals:

Total Number of White Starters: 4
Total Number of White players on 53 man roster: 15
Grade: F+

QB: Derek Carr, Jake Luton
QB / RB / TE: Taysom Hill
T: Ryan Ramczyk, Trevor Penning, Landon Young
G: James Hurst, Nick Saldiveri
TE: Foster Moreau

DT: Bryan Bresee
WLB: Pete Werner
SAM: Ty Summers

P: Lou Hedley
PK: Blake Grupe
LS: Zach Wood

Suspended: Jake Haener (QB)

IR: Adam Prentice (FB), Ryan Connelly (LB)

Practice squad: J. P. Holtz (FB/TE), Tommy Hudson (TE), Michael Jacobson (TE), Tommy Kraemer (G), Niko Lalos (DE), Jack Heflin (DT), Daniel Sorensen (S)

So overall nearly identical from last year from a demographics perspective. One caveat, is that they might have another starter at FB. Prentice is hurt and Holtz seems to get the PS callup from time to time.

The standouts here are Derek Carr in his first year taking over for the Winston / Daulton experience last year. He should be a big upgrade but has only be ok so far. Hopefully him improves as the season goes, as maybe its taking sometime to form chemistry with the wideouts. Taysom Hill comes in a for a few snaps a game at QB, often to run the ball. Last year Hill had 575 rushing yards (6 ypc) and 7 TDs. This year he's still pretty unstoppable, averaging a little over 5 ypc but no TDs yet. The Saints are at their best when he's heavily featured in the offense. On the offensive line, the Saints are an inverse Caste setup. Two excellent White tackles and all non-Whites on the interior. Ramczyk is a 3 time all-pro and another great lineman from Wisconsin. Penning is a former 1st round pick and a 1st year starter. He's got a mean streak and should be a good one.

On defense, Pete Werner starts again and is one of the premier WLBs in the NFL. His numbers are definitely impacted playing next to a legit tackling machine in Demario Davis. If the 34 year old Davis hangs them up soon, I wonder if Werner move to MLB and ascend to an annual top tackler? Bresee is a rare White DT selected in the 1st round. The Clemson alumni was also a top recruit out of HS who never dominated in college like we hoped, mostly due to injury. I think he works his way towards starter reps as the season progresses. Too talented not to.

It is interesting to note that the PS is nearly half White. Sorensen has been called up, as recently as this past week, using the "standard elevation". I'd love to also see Niko Lalos or Jack Heflin get their chance as well. Lalos in particular, as he was one of the most dominate defensive players during the preseason. He literally couldn't do anymore to earn a spot on the 53 man roster. If only he had some of that magical "upside".

Lalos ranked 3,046 out of high school as a TE. Would be awesome to see him make it for good.

So Taysom Hill is great enough to do something that hasn’t been done in nearly 70 years… and yet the Saints have continually denied him the chance to be their quarterback or running back.

An athlete this dynamic is given chance after chance to be the quarterback if they are black (see Jackson, Lamar or Fields, Justin) but if someone like Taysom Hill or even Tim Tebow shows the ability to be a dual-threat they must not be given the chance to wake up the drunk white masses.

Even Josh Allen has been running the ball less this year, even at the expense of the team’s ability to win games.

Right. I just get angry he has never been given a true shot to the the guy… we might have witnessed something never before done in history if he had.

Just skimming through a "power rankings" write-up on Yahoo by caste stooge Frank Schwab and here is what it says about the Saints:

14. New Orleans Saints (5-4, LW: 15)

The Saints remain a strange team. With all the talent on hand, should Taysom Hill lead the team in carries and rushing yards in a too-close game against the Bears? Probably not. The Saints have as much blue-chip talent as anyone but never seem to put it all together. But with their weak remaining schedule and the continuing failures of the Falcons, the NFC South is there for the taking.

Yeah, in spite of a historic performance, he shouldn't be getting the ball because he's a CRACKA! No way he's better than the other "talent" on the Saints.

Taysom can do it all!

Last season it was said the Eagles had/have the ""Top O-Line unit"' in the entire NFL led by Left Tackle Lane Johnson. .....How much would Taysom flourish there in Philly?? AS a QB???? The Saints O-Line has been fairly average.
+ Get him a big time impact like WR AJ Brown from the Titans???

I enjoy watching him play Tailback ; H-Back ; Wide Receiver; dude even runs on Punt team! Takes a hard shot from defenders and bounces up smiling!! Dude is just a FOOTBALL PLAYER!

At age 33 Taysom is still clocking 4.4's.....

HOW MANY Sports did Frank Schwab participate in ?? Bet he was picked on in HS PE where he was forced to embarrass himself dressing out and actually competing. All these weasels are good at eating our own like Piranha in the Amazon.

Saints' fans have no problem with Tayson getting the reps he is getting. In fact, they love it.

Looks like Hill's speed has not diminished.

Remember when he gave Brees **** about him criticizing those who kneeled for the anthem and then Brees unfortunately cucked. Wish he told Thomas he made his career and can break it. He hasn’t done anything since Brees retired

Was reading some of the comments on the Saints' fan website https://www.canalstreetchronicles.com/, and a bunch of them were compaining how Sam LaPorta was getting open and making receptions, "being that he is a slow white man". LaPorta's 4.59 forty happens to be faster than any tight end presently on the Saints, with the exception of the smaller glorified receiver Juwan Johnson, listed at 4.58. There really is no hope for some people.

Sam Laporta ran a 6.91 three cone and had a 4.25 shuttle. For comparison sake that his 3 cone time is the same as “athletic freak” kyle hamilton and Laporta runs a faster shuttle but he lacks speed and athleticism gtfo these dwf are insufferable

LaPorta is the 6th player in NFL history and first TE with 60 catches for 675+ yards and 6 TDs through his first 12 games.
