Since 2006 the Broncos have had 12,10,9,12,8,6,8,10,10, 10, 9, 10 and 7 white starters. In 2021 the Broncos look to start 9.

The big name to watch here is Bryce Nunnelly. He seemed to be a perennial favorite of the missing poster Shadowlight. A strong senior season should boost his draft stock. He was one of the best WRs in the FCS. Why isn't he getting a Cooper Kupp like preseason buzz? Here is his bio:

PRIOR TO WESTERN MICHIGAN: Played four seasons at UT Chattanooga, earning first team All-Southern Conference honors as a sophomore and junior ... Named a second team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2019 ... Two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District ... Played in 31 games, making 23 starts for the Mocs ... Had nine 100-yard receiving games, second in UTC history ... Had 18 games with at least five receptions ... caught a pass in 27-straight games, the fifth-longest stream in school history ... finished seventh in school history in receptions (152) and third in receiving yards (2,242) ... Semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy in 2020.
