2013 Fresno State Bulldogs

Here are the white starters for Fresno State this year. Fresno State started an inexcusable 6 white players last year, dropping to an all-time low. QB Derek Carr has immense talent; look for him to get picked early in the 2014 draft. He’s a great QB who is one of the best this year, even if the media doesn’t acknowledge him. Fresno will be running a four WR spread this year, which means no TE or FB that often. Not that it would matter, as both starters are black anyway. Since 2005, the Bulldogs have started 7, 9, 7, 8, 10, 12, 12, and 6 white starters. Wow, Tim DeRuyter must be a pretty anti-white coach, dropping off by 6 white starters after Pat Hill was fired. Things are looking up a bit this year though, with an all-white line, so an increase of two white starters. Some white backups to look for are: QB Zack Greenlee, LT Josh Trembley, LG Bo Bonnheim, C Mike Saenz, and OLB Brandon Hughes. As you can see, if anything Fresno is going to get blacker in the future, not better.
