Also on the same card as Jorgensen and Jardine was another Utah native Jarom Woodbury. Woodbury is 27 6'2 205 and holds a record of 7-1, he appears to have very good striking and has displayed it against some very good competition, today he defeated Jeremy Peterson(11-6).

Chas Skelly-age 27 5'7 145 rec 7-0 Hasn't fought since 2010, but is expected to return next month. Skelly in his last fight defeated Daniel Pineda (17-7).

Mark Dickman-age 27 5'10 155 record 5-0 pro amd 8-0 am. Dickman was a former NAIA wrestling champ at 149 for Linwood University. He has one a most of his fight from stoppage due to strikes. In his last fight he defeated journeyman Ted Worthington(32-30) by TKO.

Brock Jardine and Joey Gambino have both been signed by UFC. Jardine will face a very tough fighter in Ricky Story, and Gambino will face TUF Vet Steve Siler. Both fights will be on UFC on FX4.

Chas Skelly looked impressive in his mma return defeating Jeremy Myers(5-6) by first round sub, to improve to 8-0.
Justin Gaethje wins a UD over a highly decorated amateur making his pro debut, Marcus Edwards(12-0 am). Gaethje improves to 4-0 as a pro.

Steve Mocco officially signs with American Top Team. Mocco 6'0 260 was a two time NCAA national champ and a judo national champ. I don't know if he will give up on the olympics because he is currently a qualifier.

Over the weekend
Jake Lindsey improves to 5-0 as a pro defeating decorated amateur Jordan Johnson (5-3pro, 10-2am) by UD
Chris Gruetzemacher improves to 10-1 defeating UFC vet Roli Delgado by 3rd round TKO.


Another new prospect is Chris "The Hot Seat" Davis. Davis is 29 he's 6'2 170 with a record of 8-0 pro and 8-2 am and currently trains at American Top Team. He has great submissions and showed that a few moths ago when he defeated UFC vet Johnny Rees (13-5) by first round submission.

Christian Nibarger is a 16 year old with a record of 7-0 am with 5 subs he's 5'8 155. Nibarger has great wrestling and striking for someone his age and is only going to get better. All of his opponents have been older than him.

Over the weekend Jake Collier improved to 5-1 as a pro, Collier 23 needed just 43 seconds to ko journeyman Sean Huffman in the first round.

Tim Williams returned from an injury today defeating journeyman Lewis Rumsey(9-8) by RNC in round 1.

Aaron Ely defeats Matt Manzaneres (3-1) an accomplished amateur and pro. Ely improves his record to 4-1 as a pro.

After losing on the TUF tryouts, Jordan Rinaldi returns to his wnning ways defeating undefeated fighter Mark Dickman (5-1). Rinaldi improves to 6-0 as a pro.

Dakota Cochane defeats UFC vet Joe "Daddy" Stevenson(31-14) by second round sub to improve to 12-3.

Kurt Holobaugh defeated Ronnie Roger (12-9) be second round sub to improve to 7-0 as a pro.

Josh Quayhagen- age 25 5'11 175
Record 5-0 pro 8-6 am. Quayhagen is a very interesting prospect, because he was described as someone who had good strikeing and a natural athlete, but not a complete MMA fighter. That showed in his Amateur record of 8-6 largely due to his lack of a ground game. However in his pro debut at Bellator against highly ranked Brazilian kickboxer Cosmo Alexander (40-14) Kickboxing 2-1 MMA, Quayhagen not only won, but he defeated Alexander on his feet. Since then Quayhagen has gone 4-0 and has improved his takedown defense and his wrestling. He recently defeated Cliff Wright and is expected to sign with Bellator when the season returns.

Gunnar Nelson (9-0) will make his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel 5 in England. Nelson was originally signed by the UFC in 2010, but I think he got injured and was out all of 2011. Nelson is 23 years old 5'11 and 170lbs he is a native of Iceland and holds a grappling victory over Jeff Monson at the ADCC. Nelson opponent will be Germany native Pascal Kraus (10-1).

D.J. Linderman knocked out a fat Negro in Legacy Fighting Championships tonight. He has been fighting heavyweight lately but is right at 235. A bit small for heavyweight but a 30 pound weight cut to 205 is not fun.

I predict he will get a call from the UFC very soon.
