Tulsa had 11 white starters in 2005, 10 in 2006, 8 in 2007, and 9 in 2008. Depending on the outcome of some position battles, that number could go up or down this year.

GJ Kinne was 15 of 20 for 211 yards and 1TD, 0INT.
He also had 13 carries for 77 yards and 1TD. He was the leading rusher in the game.

Outside the numbers:
I watched this whole game. Kinne is very impressive. It's easy to see why Texas gave him a scholarship. He throws a hard flat ball with good accuracy. He's very mobile and strong on the run. He's got a bit of Jay Cutler about him. He throws very well on the run with just a flick of his wrist. Tulsa definitely needs to ignore Herb Hand's attempts to "West Virginia-ize" their offense. They could've scored 80 last night if they had turned Kinne loose in the passing game. In any event, that's an exciting team to watch.
