After the game, Bill Bellichick kept referring to Danny as "Woody."Â This nickname, coupled with the fact that Woodhead was given carries a mere 8 days after being signed by New England is an indication that Bellichick likes his play. Danny averaged 14 yards per carry, had an electrifying touchdown, and looked lightning fast. I've read numerous articles on Woodhead since yesterday's game (written by the Jewsual suspects in the NE sports scene), all of which were filled with glowing praise for this talented "underdog."Â Edelman was even given a carry in the third down scat-back role.

<div>I heard one announcer inadvertently refer to him as "Moorehead."</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I also listened to the racist clowns on the NFL Network during some of their game highlights.  When Woodhead's TD run was shown, Deion Sanders, Michael Irvin and their step 'n fetch it sidekick "Mooch" all cackled with laughter as one of them yelled out "Who???".  The next highlight was a catch by Welker, at which point Sanders said, "I wonder if Welker and Woodhead drove to the game together," followed by more laughter.  </div>

A video of the childish idiocy that you referenced is available at NFL.com under "game highlights"Â for the Patriots-Bills.

Michael Irvin was literally screeching with laughter whenever a white player made a great play (which was nearly every play). After insulting Woodhead and Welker, he was in a state of hysteria when Tom Brady ran for a crucial first down.

The walking nutsack, "Mooch,"Â was probably teary-eyed (as he usually is when discussing corporate Negro football) whilst patting his coked-up co-host on the back. You know, the same back that was nearly broken by white safety, Tim Hauck, ending Irvin's career.

Naturally, only loving, glowing praise was uttered whenever a black player was successful.

In the same section at NFL.com under the Browns-Ravens "game highlights,"Â the Coke Head kept referring to Peyton Hillis as "sugar"Â and Mooch was foaming at the mouth screaming "he's a throwback!"Â

Their jealously and proverbial penis-envy couldn't be more obvious.Edited by: Thrashen

Well said, Thrashen. Just comapre Hillis and Mike Vick. Even when Vick sucks, he still gets praised. Hillis can run for 300 yards, and not get the same amount of attention.

Great year in the NFL this year. We have four teams with must see games, Pats, Colts, Pack, Browns, and maybe Vikes if Gerhart gets more carries. That's five more than last year.

Danny Woodhead could end up being one of the most popular jersey sellers in the nfl if the Pats ever let him start. He may get stuffed some times like Barry Sanders did but he would more than make up for it with his electricfying speed and his cuts on a dime. Danny can play running back at a high level. Nebraska was stupid to not recruit this kid. I hope they can get him 5 to 10 touches a game at the least. Man oh man would I love to see what he could do if he ran it 20 times a game. He knows how to avoid the big hits. The kid just has it. He proved in the preseason last year. The kid should be a star.

So please New England, keep playing Woodhead. Get him on the field as much as possible. Then sit back and watch as peoples jaws drop!

I agree WL. The DWF's tend to sober up at times and show love to white players who are supposedly too "small" and weren't supposed to make it in the NFL. Woodhead could become a fan favorite in New England like Wayne Chrebet did in New York.

Yes, let this be the first of many for Danny! I am sensing that Danny, Peyton, and John Kuhn will help cause a minor wave of white players to be drafted in later rounds of the draft but actually be utilized.

I'm thinking Jacob Hester will be traded and used as an RB somewhere.

Brock Bolen showed some promise in the preseason for Jacksonville, maybe he will emerge out of the woodwork.

The only thing I'm thinking could happen with Toby is that an injury forces the Vikings to use him as a primary back. Same thing with Brian Leonard.

Danny has incredible speed and quickness as do Edelman and Welker. The Patriots are setting a new standard for what's acceptable. Watch other teams so the same.

I do believe the future is bright for white offensive players in the NFL!

actually the other day i've read an article about Brian Leonard (it was something mainstream) calling him by far the most complete 3rd/4th down back in football. too bad that he can be SO much more!

Backrow, he certainly is a complete back. He converted two fourth downs in this last game.

Man, I was stoked to see Danny (finally) score that TD. They need to give him alot more carries/reps. This kid is a stud athlete.

please pardon me if this has already been posted, but i didn't see it.

Nothing little about Danny Woodhead's impact.

On Sunday, members of the football coaching staff were tucked away in their offices at Chadron State, performing the usual day-after-game ritual of breaking down Saturday's film - in this case, a 21-10 win over Adams State.

Then, during the early afternoon, the phones started ringing. And ringing. And didn't stop ringing all afternoon. You might have thought there was a telethon going on at the school.

After a while, coach Bill O'Boyle considered installing a Danny Woodhead hotline.

"We're here working all day, as soon as he scores (his first NFL touchdown with the Patriots) the phone is ringing off the wall,"Â￾ O'Boyle said Monday. "It's amazing how many people in the state of Nebraska still follow him. We were also getting bombarded with e-mails and phone calls from all the guys we played against, all the teams Danny played against. Those guys follow him week in and week out. I got e-mails from Abilene Christian in West Texas. Everyone wants to see the D-2 guys do well."Â￾

While Woodhead is carrying the banner for the Division 2 schools, showing that you don't necessarily have to go to a Div. 1 school to make it in the NFL, the recently signed Patriots running back-wide receiver stands for so much more.

His story resonates with so many people who have been told they can't do something, or can't reach for their dreams. Football players aren't usually the size of jockeys, but being small never deterred Woodhead for a second.

"With Danny, right out of high school, everyone was saying, ‘Look at his height!' Everyone was going to knock him on that,"Â￾ O'Boyle said with regard to the munchkin-sized back who rushed for 42 yards on three carries and a touchdown in his NFL debut against the Bills. "But no one was going to look at all of the other intangibles he has, and everything else he brings."Â￾

Listening to a few of his coaches, not to mention his dad Mark - a fellow former Chadron State football player - Woodhead is not someone you want to go up against if you expect to win. When O'Boyle and current Chadron State athletic director Brad Smith (who coached Woodhead his first year) recruited him out of North Platte High, they didn't just see a talented football player. They saw an incredible athlete who not only was the best football player at his high school, but also the best at hoop and soccer.

As a point guard, he led all of Nebraska in scoring his senior year. He was the No. 2 scorer in the state in soccer. He ran track for a year in college and broke Chadron State's 100-meter record at 10.5 seconds. And did we mention he was also a scratch golfer?

"Put a golf club in his hand, he'll beat anybody,"Â￾ O'Boyle said. "The guy is amazing as far as being a competitor."Â￾

Woodhead, who as a kid drew a football field on the living room carpet with a green marker, has two brothers and a sister who are also very athletic. Both brothers played football, but there's just something different about Danny.

Something special.

"All my kids are pretty good athletes,"Â￾ said Mark Woodhead, a teacher in North Platte who also coaches a girls basketball team. "With Danny, any ball he touches turns to gold. Football, basketball, soccer, golf, that's just him."Â￾

And did we mention his height yet? When told Woodhead was listed at 5-9, O'Boyle laughed.

"Yeah, I'd say that's stretching it,"Â￾ O'Boyle said.

Papa Woodhead didn't want to reveal any family secrets, but said Danny was definitely shorter than him, and he's "5-10 on a good day."

No matter. Woodhead still managed to win Div. 2's version of the Heisman - the Harlon Hill Trophy - in 2006 and 2007. His single season total of 2,756 rushing yards in 2006 set an NCAA record for all divisions.

"He's the best athlete we've had at this place,"Â￾ O'Boyle said. "I doubt I'll ever see another guy like him as long as I coach. He's just a special kid. Always has been."Â￾

Woodhead, of course, was waived by the Jets and picked up by the Patriots the day before the showdown with Gang Green at New Meadowlands Stadium. While many thought this was just gamesmanship on the part of Bill Belichick, given Woodhead was a favorite of Jets coach Rex Ryan, it's looking like the Pats saw something more.

As Tom Brady cracked, Woodhead was around for about 10 minutes and still managed to contribute significantly in the 38-30 win over the Bills. Taking on some of the Kevin Faulk role, Woodhead was used in the backfield. His second carry as a Patriot, he scampered 22 yards for a touchdown. Even with only three carries, you could see he was a natural, with great vision and a terrific feel for how to use his blockers.

"I'll bet the Jets are shaking their head after watching that,"Â￾ O'Boyle said. "It's just a matter of someone giving him a shot and letting him get on the field to do some things. 'Cuz he's going to surprise people. But nothing he does will surprise us."Â￾

That's because the folks at Chadron State have seen it up close and personal. They've had the full Woodhead experience. Smart in the classroom, even better on the field.

"Yeah, he's kind of a freak,"Â￾ said Smith.

"I'm telling you, it'll only get better the more he keeps going,"Â￾ O'Boyle said. "Â￾He'll feed off that. Because there are so many guys that doubt him, even now. There's no guy that I've ever met that will feed off that more than he will.

"But, we're just elated with what he's doing now. If you know him, he's always going to succeed."Â￾

Just goes to show you how deep the "black ownership" of the position in the NFL is. No doubt Woodhead did the same things every day in practice while with the Jets, being the best RB on the field, but could never crack the lineup because of the "danger of upsetting the chemistry" of a team anchored by black egos. Recall the Jets player noting that Woodhead would be ahall-of-famer if he had played in the 50's, he doubtless knows how Woodhead can play. I hope that Coach Belichick does another "Welker" and gives a white guy a shot at a black position. This, along with Hillis, is a great opportunity to dent the caste system. Edited by: FootballDad

Yeah, it's unfortunate that SOME of the black players are so entitled pampered and spoiled. I think there are still (even in today's era) some black offensive players that will give a white WR or RB their due IN THE LOCKER ROOM if they perform real well, but lots of the black RBs competing for PT whine. A few will even play the race card as soon as a white RB's average dips below the league average of 4 YPC FOR ONE GAME, they fumble EVEN ONCE or don't rip off a 20+ yard run each game.

I think the Pats are a team that has a lot of high character guys though with a fair number of whites on the offense so Danny WILL get some carries and he WILL progressively earn more each week! The bottom line is each NFL team should have AT LEAST 3 white skill players on offense. The good news is even if NFL D's don't improve much- fans will get to see white men running through black D's with DOMINANCE. The casteophiles are slowly losing RB as a 100% caste position and it is slowly beginning THIS YEAR!

Tough J. your last line was noteworthy... While we all wish the situation was a lot better in the NFL at the RB position, the fact that it is no longer 100% Caste as it's been for the better part of the last decade is VERY IMPORTANT. If it's 100% caste, most fans will assume there's not even a white running back on the verge of having enough talent to play the RB position. Even having 2 starters/1 feature back shows there at least has to be other whites who have the talent to play the position.

I'm rooting hard for Danny. He's a key player in breaking the caste monopoly. Peyton Hillis is cracking the wall a great deal, but to many DWF's a big, "fullback-looking" white guy running the ball is not completely out of the ordinary. A "small"white guy tearing up out of the backfield with speed, vision, and incredible cuts is something else altogether. If he can get the opportunity to get at least 10 carries a game, it's going to really make a difference for our guys. Edited by: FootballDad

Yes, Woodhead and Hillis, the one-two punch to knock the caste system on its ass.

Exactly!! Lets hope the kid gets the opportunity to do just that. Hope to see the game tonight. I kind of like the Pats anyway, but have Woody rip off some long runs tonight or even fake some folks out of their cleats will be exciting.

The nice thing about seeing Woodhead, Hillis, Leonard, Kuhn, and the few others doing well is that our youngsters are seeing this and maybe at a subconscious level will start believing that they can compete with the "superior" race.

This is the most encouraging thing I see. I hope the young white kids see it, too.

Yes, Woodhead will really wake some DWFs up if he typically gets double digit carries each week. Woodhead has a bit of a Barry Sanders like feel to his game. As much as we like to say that the "blacker room" is against white skill players- there are black players like Kevin Faulk/Warrick Dunn etc. on teams that are class acts. Heck, Dunn did a HUGE amount for charity in TB. Anyway, if more teams build their offense like the Colts and Pats the locker room chemistry will be much better. BTW, I wish one of the whiter offensive teams would sign Jake Sharp. The Packers could really use him now!

I got a feeling Danny Woodhead will have break out game tonight. The Patriots have had horrible RBs for about a decade (like the Colts). Wouldn't it be nice to finally see a complete team and what they could do? An all white offensive line with a white QB, a white TE, 2 white WRs, and a white RB. With a good chance that Randy Moss with get hurt or arrested again, this could be the castefootball dream team.

Man, this is the first time in decades that I look forward to a MNF game. I feel likes it the late 70s or early 80s. I hope Danny has a break out performance tonight.

Great post yall! No doubt the Patriots realize they have a special back!

Congrats to Danny Woodhead on his TD reception tonight! Some nice runs too! He brings it...he's explosive and has some wiggle! Still most of the 4th qtr.. to go. The timing could not have been more perfect for him! The ESPN announcers said "the Jets hated to let him go"....

Jake Sharp needs to be with the Packers!

It's time for more white scat-backs!Edited by: TwentyTwo
