Comments

Gruden succeeded in phasing Alstott out completely, giving him no touches in this game, not even on 3rd and 1 (rush for a loss by Williams) nor 4th and 1 (playaction pass, QB almost sacked, incomplete). this costed Bucs a game and a season. what an idiot, to let his ego get in a way...Edited by: backrow

Matt Jones is back on the field, which should calm the nerves of a few of our posters. He has 2 catches for 32 yards so far.

Finn has an 8 yard catch for the Giants so far, and Shockey has a 9 yarder.

yeah but Garrard is bad news for Jones (and every other receiver)... he will try to run it, lacks accuracy and makes bad decisions... runningbacks are his favorite targets...

and btw the savior Young just had his first pass to Drew Bennett - 7 minutes left into the game

Merriman is appealing so I guess he can play. That sucks the stupid black team Ravens beat the Saints.

Not too worried about Urlacher's #s, as it didn't look like the 49ers offense had enough plays to allow for many tackles.

Bears defense dominated again...they're going to be tough to beat... is that white safety for the colts playing a lot more recently(Giordino is it)? I don't remember him playing at all really earlier this year..

I wish the Bungals had beaten Atlanta, but it was good to see the Faclons kickers get so many points. Morten had 3 field goals and 2 PATs.

Here's the 42 yarder.

Peyton went over 35,000 yards passing in his 135th game, only one game after Dan Marino who was the fastest QB there. Peyton also had his 37th 300+ yard passing game.

Dan Kreider had a 9 yard catch, Heath Miller a 5 yard catch, and Zach Crockett had 3 runs for 7 yards. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Anthony Fasano had a nice catch but it was called back thanks to two black blocking penalties!

Witten has a catch too. If the game stays close, I think Romo will go to his TEs often.

Dang, Hoover fumbled. I bet he doesn't get another carry all year.

He had a punt return, but they didn't count his run because he fumbled.

Anyway, it looks like Witten will be used by Romo, as well as Anthony Fasano, unless something changes. It was also good to see Ole Miss alum Kris Mangum get a 14 yard catch. I remember watching him when he was in college.

Romo looked very good, I was impressed. He looks for Witten and Fasano alot more than Bledsoe did. As long as he leads the Cowboys to victory over the media darling McNabb ill be happy.
