Wariner is 22 years old if I'm not mistaken, does anyone know what times Michael Johnson was running at that age?

I don't know if Wariner would appreciate it, but he is the poster boy for this site. He keeps chipping towards the world record in a very non-steroidal fashion.

43.62 is phenomenal. Jeremy Wariner is our brightest star. I'm so happy for him. There are so many disappointments in sports, and it's wonderful to have such a consistent winner.

Ok guys, just back from a weekend in Vegas and I just heard the news.Holy cow!!What more can be said about this 22 year old wonder kid.He is on a mission to break the world record.I too can see him eventually going sub 43 by 2008!For anyone who doubts him,you are retarded! He will easily go sub 20 in the 200 meters very soon too. It's just a matter of time. What a superstar and a great role model for kids everywhere.Another good race by Andrew Rock in a time of 44.82!Not bad at all.Good job by all the US Sprinters.

Track people just amaze me.I go to alot of track boards and just about everyone goes on about how Jeremy is a great runner but he lacks good footspeed. They keep saying that he should either be a 400/800 guy or just move up to the 800 altogether. What a joke!!Are these guys really serious? What have they been drinking?Jeremy may have a long stride, but that doesn't equate to not being fast.Look at C.Lewis.He had a long stride and so have many others. They were still considered the fastest in the world.Wariner is just always labled because he is white.I hope this pisses him off as much as it does to us here.I want to see him not only go sub 20 but go sub 19.8 eventually to get the respect he deserves.I can see him eventually getting to the 19.7 range by 2008 in addition to breaking the 400 world record.Gee,I wonder what Brutal thinks about Wariner?I'm sure he would say that he should run the marathon.lol.Edited by: white lightning

I couldn't agree with you more! anyone who thinks he doesn't have the foot speed should pull there head out of their ass. 19.8 will shut the nonbelievers up permanently. actually they will just start saying he on steroids.

Such idiotic baltherings are just an even more blatant example of race profiling in sports. Can anyone imagine a black 400 meter runner with Wariner's accomplishments under his belt being assailed as lacking "footspeed" and needing to move up to the 800?

One would think that the objectivity of the timer would preclude the mindless rantings that WL cites but I fear the brainwashing has been so successful that even the laws of physics can be bent to the will of those that believe in the "inflexible hips" of whites.

I was going to ask the race of the top ten women in professional tennis, but there aren't any black women on that list, so...

Can anyone tell me the race of these men?

1. Roman Å ebrle
2. Tomáš Dvorák
3. Dan O'Brien

In case you're wondering, that is top ten performers of the decathlon. No dearth of white men on that list, is there?

I could go on to ask the race of boxing's champions from the lightweight to heavyweight division, but instead I will just let you know that, at last count, 18 of them are white.

I love the way people will try to belittle the accomplishments of white athletes in their field but tout and praise the accomplishments of a few blacks in sports that are dominated by non-blacks.

Wariner wins again in Stockholm:

Wariner, the Olympic and world champion, eased up at the finish but still clocked 44.02 to break the old mark of 44.57 set by Alvin Harrison in 2002.

Another great race by the best in the world.Wariner must sometimes get a little bored out there with the lack of competition.Who cares?I love watching him dominate the sprints like no one has since MJ.The race in England coming up this weekend will be a blast to watch.Five of the eight sprinters in the 400 meters will be white.Rock,Wariner, and the 3 English Guys.It should be fun to watch. The times might be a little slower though since England isn't known for good weather or fast sprint times.Keep it up Jeremy!
