They better not! We've been waiting for this rematch for a long time (or at least it feels like a long time.) The UFC has finally got a hold of Jackson and they better take advantage of it. As you mentioned in another post, The Ice Man is 37; he ain't gettin' any younger. If Jackson wins his next fight, it's time for Liddell/ Jackson II.

P.S. Ground Fighter, if I remember correctly, Cro-Cop punched Sapp in the eye and broke something!

Ireadthat the Sherdog judges gave the first round to Chuck 10-9. After watching the fight at Google I thought Liddell destroyed Ortiz in the first . He bloodied both of his eyes, knocked him to the ground and pounded him relentlessly. Tito did land a few punches and a few weak kicks along with a wrestling take-down of sorts, but man, I thought Chuck mopped the floor with him. Shogun, how would you have scored it?

Joe Rogan gave the first round 10-9 too? What constitutes a 10-8 round? In boxing there are clear guidlines in this there aren't. Also Rogan gave Ortiz the second which was more baffling then the first round scoring. I guess one bear hug and two slow ass kicks equals a winning round...

We scored it 10-8 at my house, easy. Was the report you read about the judge's score cards, or Sherdog's Play by Play? Eddie Bravo, who does the UFC's 'unofficial' scoring round by round, also scored the fight 10-9, but the joke about him is that he never scores a round anything but 10-9.
The ridiculous thing about that score is that it means they may have potentially gone into the third round tied at a round a piece, as most gave Tito round two. There is no way that Chuck should be tied with Tito going into the third with the way Chuck beat him in the first. I was surprised that they didn't stop it, actually. Tito was getting worse from Chuck in the first than he was in the third when the ref did stop it.
Chuck told Dana after the fight that he tore his ACL three weeks ago but kept it a secret. He didn't want to have to back out of the fight. So Chuck basically beat Tito's ass on one leg. There is no doubt about it, Chuck truly is a tough SOB.

Oh man, Jenna's tears make Liddel's victory all the sweeter. The next morning when Jenna gets a load of Tito's puffed up face, her mind is going to start thinking about Chucky boy.

LOL...it reminds me of Rocky IV, when Drago literally kills Apollo in the ring, and his wife is hysterical in tears. Funny scene, as I pissed my pants laughing. I loved it even more when Drago's wife cracks a smile, just as Creed hits the canvas.
But, thats what Byrd's wife gets for being a race-traiting P.O.S. Awwww, did her "mandingo-warrior" get crushed by the superior Russian? Too bad. The only thing that would have made that fight even sweeter, would have been if Klitschko would have started "goose-stepping" on his way out of the ring while singing a Johnny Rebel tune. lol.Edited by: Ground Fighter
