The similarities are eerie. Coming out of Evangel Christian Academy, Jacob Hester was 5-10, 234 pounds and a two-star prospect according to Rivals.com after rushing for over 1500 yards for the Eagles.

2 Caucasian RB's?? What they beez puttin' in da water?! Eerie, indeed...



Another interesting quote from another site:

"Jacob Hester-type" and "hard-nosed" (instead of 'talented'). Putting "type" at the end of Jacob Hester's name is insulting.
One can also say: The coaches should be knocking on his door then.


It is good to see that Hester is inspiring others, however.


What do other CF members have to say about this? Why don't they compare White RB's of today with White RB's of the 60's, 70's and 80's??

They don't want people to remember that Whites actually used to carry the ball effectively in the NFL (AFTER it was fully integrated no less). Too many uncomfortable questions would then have to be raised, and there isn't a single media personna willing to take that on.
