This winter Fabio clocked 6.55 in the 60 meter dash, and secured the silver medal behind Dwain Chaimbers in the European Indoor Championships. He has a personal best of 10.13 last year, and is at his fastest now, and especially when running in Italy and early to halfway through the season.
Craig trains smarter, peaking at bigger races like the under 23 championships and I think the 2012 Olympics and Berlin 2009. He has a personal best of 10.14, and although his 60 meter was only 6.57 seconds, .02 of his fastest, his top speed is better than ever. I think his breakout years will be 2010 through 2014, and will pose a sub 10 threat from 2010 to 2012.
Craig ran very well in Beijing; 10.18. He peaks when it matters, unlike Cerutti, who ran in the 10.4 range in Beijing. He is just downright sexy. To quote white lightning, he has a stare that says, "Don't f**k with me." I want him as a friend and plan on oneday shaking his hand and if possible giving a big bear hug. If he ever runs sub 10 I will name my first born Craig after him, even if it is a girl.
For these obvious reasons I think both Craig and Fabio have a good chance at breaking ten seconds; but Fabio only in Italy, where he runs his best.
The 2012 Olympics wil be special, Craig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
