I think Trent green is the most under-rated player in the NFL. In the last three seasons has had a qb rating over 90 2-1 td to int's and at 4000 + yards each of his last two seasons.

On Defense I think Aaron schobel is very underrated, he puts up a nice number of sacks every year 8-12, has 5 forced fumbles this year, but to me what stands out is he has 64 tackles this year 60 last year pro-bowl player abraham {49) freeney (33) Taylor (55), have less tackles and forced fumbles. A good Defensive end should be able to play the run and rush the passer.

I agree with both of your picks.Let me add a few more. How about Drew Brees of the San Diego Chargers.
8 straight wins when they thought he was a scrub and
drafted another qb in last years draft. Then on defense
I would put Ted Bruschi in there.Year after year,he is
a stud on defense but doesn't get mentioned that much.
Most people don't know this but Bruschi tied Derrick
Thomas College Sack Record with 44 1/2 over his college
career at the University of Arizona Wildcats.

Rich Gannon was very underrated for sometime, esp. in Minnesota. The problem is most white guys are underated and never even get to play so its hard to say.

I was sitting here thinking about the nfl season so far.
Both Stokley and Bennett obviously have had huge years.
As fast & talented as they both are,Kevin Kasper might
even be better than both but has been screwed over. How in
the world can a guy with 4.35 speed and a 40 inch vertical not even get to play at receiver. He has great
hands and proved that in college.Kevin is also a great
kickoff returner.I just don't get it.There is no reason
other than the color of his skin not to play him.I think
that he will probably just retire because no one seems to
think this guy has anything to offer. What a shame.

Great point. One would think that Kasper would be used more now,
because Bethel Johnson(a slightly better athlete) is injured.
However, Kasper has only gotten to return kick-offs a couple of
times. He should be the Pats' #1 return man now.

As a receiver, he is severely underplayed. It is true that the
Patriots have the most depth at wide receiver in the NFL, but Kasper
can be worked into their rotation more. If the Patriots can play
Daniel Graham at TE, they can play Kevin Kasper at WR.

Maybe Charlie Weiss does not want Notre Dame to think he is anti-caste
system, since he is Willingham's replacement. (Just kidding)

P.S. I think Ricky Proehl and Christian Fauria are the most underrated players in the NFL.

Kevin Kasper actually is supposed to play tommorow because the Pats are resting most of their starters.
I hope he makes the most of his opportunity.
