I'm reading about the killing of Malcolm X's grandson in Mexico City.
some of deceased's resume':
In June 1997, Shabazz (Malcolm X's grandson), then 12, set a fire at his grandmother Betty Shabazz's Yonkers home. She died from severe burns, he served 4 years in juvenile detention.
Shabazz also served time for a 2002 attempted robbery in Middletown & was released in 2005. Then in 2006, he pleaded guilty to criminal mischief for smashing the window of a Yonkers doughnut shop.
With this said, the media is citing the "Shabazz" familys' attestation to the grandson's "bright light & boundless potential".
Personally, I feel like Shabazz fulfilled his potential, and what does partial, biased family opinion ever bring to a story (?)
Another media deception, the Associated Press is reporting Shabazz was travelling, to speak against youth violence.. really (?) Will they cite his sponsored speaking engagements (?)
It always feels like the media's willfully trying to upsell these guys, instead of reporting the facts straight-forward. Shabazz was a convicted arsonist, who was responsible for killing his own grandmother. He was killed in a bar fight in Mexico City..
Ultimately Shabazz' judgement belongs to God. But why is the media always spinning, & whitewashing, the Hell we're presently living in

Shabazz is also referenced as an advocate for immigrant rights in another article I read,.. I guess bcuz his drinking buddy at the time of the killing, was a "labor activist" (AP's words) {translation:man who had been deported back to Mexico.}
Being lied to on a regular basis, is makin' my stomach hurt...
