Lukasz Chyla is another young sprinter out of Poland to
watch. He won the Euro 100 Championships last year. His
personal best so far is a 10.20.He is capable of so much
more.Expect big things to come this year.

Lukasz Chyla won a 60 meter race in Poland last weekend
in a time of 6.61.That is a very fast time.He is in
great form for this early on.That time translates into
around a 10.25-10.30 outdoor 100 meters.He ran faster
than that last year but he is not even close to being
in good shape yet.I fully expect him to get into the
10.10 range this summer.Lukasz is already the 2nd fastest
Polish Sprinter in the 100 of all time.Good luck to
him this year.

Lukasz Chyla has 3 races this year and is very
consistant.He has run a 6.62,6.61,and last weekend
a 6.60.He is winning and getting just a little
faster each time out. Those times are very good but
I would like to see him get into the 6.5 range in
the 60 meters. He should do it the next time out.He
is looking good for the upcoming World Indoor Champs
and for the outdoor season.

Lukasz Chyla won the Polish Indoor National Championships
today with a time of 6.58 seconds in the 60! He is one
of only a few sprinters to dip into the 6.5 range. This
is excellent news for his fitness as the outdoor season
quickly approaches.I believe Chyla will have a really
good chance at getting right around the 10 second flat
range this summer.Way to go Lukasz!

Lukasz ran another personal best today in the 60 meters
with a time of 6.56. He has amazingly ran faster over
each race all season long indoors. He continues to lower
his times and personal bests.Chyla is in excellent form.
I really see him easily breaking his outdoors personal
best of 10.20 which he set last year.He is about to
break into the elite category outdoors.Lukasz is so
close.Good luck to him in the European Indoor Champs.
next weekend.Just like in boxing,Polish Power.

Chyla blasted through the opening round today in the
European Indoor Championships in one of the fastest
times of the day.He should be considered one of the
heavy favorites to at least medal or take home
the crown.Good luck to Lukasz.

Lukasz has had a very average season so far battling
injuries. He finished a dissapointing 5th today in the
Euro Cup 100 Meters Mens Finals. He did run a 10.31 so
I guess he is slowly getting back to form.He has 2 months
to try to peak for the World Championships.I was really
impressed with the kid from Russia.Andre Yepishin ran a
10.26.Russia really needs some good young mens sprinters.
Yepishin just could be the best sprinter to come out of
there in a very long time and he is very young and raw.
Keep an eye on him over the next 5 years.Maybe we have
another Pickering on our hands. That would be great!

The problem is the White sprinters are toping out in the 10.2 area or even 10.3.

A minuscule number get into the 10.1 area and that's it.

Unless top White male and female sprinters begin marrying and having
many children there will continue to be a biological not social limit
on White sprinting success.

Heike Dreschler has a son buy a soccer goallie so he aint going
anywhere. Had she had several sons by Allan Wells or Frank Emmellman or
Geir Moen then we might have seen some incredible talent.
