Within 1 to 2 years in my honest opinion. The kid is so raw with little track training. One to keep a close eye on!

I hope the kid breaks Usain bolts record one day, but honestly it seems impossible, especially since Usain roided to do it, I've not seen anyone, black or white come close to it in anyway since

I saw this on a few sites already. Konstantin Krylov runs a new personal best time of 6.56 and is the 60 Meters Champion of
Russia. Yaroslav Tkalich finished 2nd in a fast time of 6.61! Kristiana Makarenko won the womens 60 in lightning fast time of 7.13!

SInce he is still 19 years of age this puts Konstantin Krylov in the top 5 of all time for Under 20!

At a distance of 60 m, the athlete updated the Russian record among U23 juniors, showing a result of 6.56 seconds.

The previous achievement (6.59 seconds) belonged to Alexander Porkhomovsky and was established on February 27, 1993.

However, the runner himself did not show any emotions in connection with this event.


“It’s clear that this is a personal record, a Russian record for juniors, but I didn’t feel much joy,” Krylov told the ARAF press service.


And on the final day of the tournament, the 19-year-old runner added another title to his track record at a distance of 200 m - and also with a junior national record - 20.73 seconds.

Konstantin Krylov is the second fastest sprinter in all of Europe at the end of the indoor season. Not bad for a teenager who has to
train indoors on a 50 meter track because they don't have the proper facilities! Keep a close eye on quite possibly the NEXT BORZOV!

Athlete Konstantin Krylov believes he could have won the European Championships if the Russians had competed there.
Last August, Krylov won the 200 meter race at the Russian Championships in Chelyabinsk with a result of 20.52 seconds. In February, he became first in the 60-meter race (6.64) at the Russian Winter Tournament in Moscow. Also in February, Krylov scored victories in the 60 meters (6.56) and 200 meters (20.72) at the Russian Indoor Championships in Moscow.
— How does a young Russian track and field athlete live in the current situation?
– Great, because I haven’t gone out of my way to complain yet. I’ve had enough of our departures.
— But do you compare yourself to the athletes participating in the World and European Championships?
— I think Europe would definitely be behind me, but the world… it’s still a bit tough, but you can improve and gain experience.
— Athletics in Russia was sanctioned even before many others. Doesn’t it hurt?
“I think it hurts us more than others.” But since we have been under sanctions for a very long time, that means we have to get out before others,” Krylov told .
On March 1, 2022, the World Athletics Association suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from participation in international competitions. The suspension remains in effect to this day, despite the reinstatement of the ARAF.

Predictions for Konstantin Krylov for this summer?

so 6.56/60m for a man who just turned 20 is very good. The problem I see is lack of competition running against some slightly faster guys.
And it takes very specific training to run that next 40 metres fast for a standout 100m time.
Will he have a team around him knowledgable enough in all aspects of athlete development to achieve this?
Similar situation to us - We here in Australia just had a 20 year old run 20.52 /200 this past weekend but I'm not overly confident we have the right people to get him close to world standard or even 20.20
Will he run relaxed when up against better sprinters? we won't know if he doesn't have this competition repeatedly.

Even though Russia as a Nation is still banned from the 2024 Paris Olympics individual athletes that meet the standards can compete
there under a Neutral Flag. I don't think Krylov will qualify in time but I do have a few predictions for this talented young man.

10.05 to 10.09 in the 100 meters wind legal.

20.30 to 20.35 in the 200 meters wind legal.


He just turned 20 this spring so if he achieves those goals he will be in good shape going forward. I see a huge talent here.

I agree 100 percent. Ever since I was a kid I and all Americans have been fed this anti Soviet Union/Russia on every topic. From music to movies, etc. etc. It's not fair to these fine young athletes.

So any predictions Sprintstar on times for this kid this summer despite only getting to run against his own country men?
