Mouton placed on IR: San Diego placed rookie LB Jonas Mouton on injured reserve Wednesday with a shoulder injury and ending his first NFL season. To take his roster spot, the Chargers signed safety Paul Oliver to a one-year contract.
(Updated 09/21/2011)

Fantasy Analysis

Mouton, a second-round draft pick from Michigan, was hurt in the exhibition finale and was inactive the past two weeks. The second-round selection was not considered a viable Fantasy option and should continue to be ignored in all IDP formats for the 2011 season.

Antonio Gates is likely to rapidly decline due to being unable to shake his foot problems:

Antonio Gates (foot) was held out of practice again on Thursday. This is becoming a legitimate concern. Gates was obviously at less than full strength against the Patriots. A team insider told Pro Football Weekly last week that Gates can rule out being 100 percent healthy "for the rest of his career," as the injury has robbed him of the speed and athleticism needed as a vertical threat. Reliable beat writer Kevin Acee is giving Mike Tolbert (calf) a better chance to play this week than Gates.

Following his concussion last week, injury prone Michael Vick suffered a broken right hand today. He's a lefty so we'll see if he misses any time or not. . .

It looks like Kenny Britt's potentially huge season has been derailed: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1115016/kenny-britt

Little thug-boy hurt his knee? Poor baby.

When I first heard of Britt’s injury, I immediately wondered if his absence will impact Marc Mariani’s chances to finally become involved in the Titans passing game. Does anyone know if Mariani has lined-up strictly a “slot receiver” this season? He currently has 3 catches for 13 yards.

After Nate Washington, Levelle Hawkins, Damian Williams, and Mariani are the only WR’s remaining on the roster.

Well, somethings never change. I was watching NFL Live and John Clayton reported that the Titans have contacted Donnie Avery and Justin Gage (never heard of either one) for workouts, and of course, no mention of Mark Mariani anywhere.

The Cedric Benson situation was discussed, and apparently the Bengals have worked out washed up fossils Larry Johnson and Clinton Portis to bring onboard during Benson's upcoming suspension. A perfectly capable RB is on the roster, but he suffers from that unfortunate skin condition that precludes him from running the ball.

And, look who San Diego signed to the roster to replace him...

3 minutes ago - by Dan McLellan - Harris adds to D-Line depth; Sanders moves to IR list
The Chargers signed defensive lineman Tommie Harris to a one-year contract Wednesday and placed safety Bob Sanders (knee) on the season ending IR list. Chargers RapidReports

Their love of black d-linemen never changes. I know this signing was likely made because Castillo is injured (and Jacques Cesaire is expected to miss a few weeks), but it's a typical NFL signing.

The epidemic continues..

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/516575/melvin-bullitt

Bullitt ends up on IR again: The Colts placed DB Melvin Bullitt on IR Wednesday for the second straight season with the same shoulder injury that ended his 2010 season early. “I just talked to him and it’s that darned shoulder again,’’ Bullitt’s father, Jerry, told the Indianapolis Star. “He did everything he had to in order to come back stronger. It was just the wrong hit at the wrong time.’’

Foxworth ends up on IR again: The Ravens placed DB Domonique Foxworth (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
(Updated 09/28/2011)

Fantasy Analysis

Foxworth did play in two games this season, but he was still having problems with an ACL injury that forced him to miss the 2010 season. He used to be a key figure in the Ravens' secondary, but he was merely a backup DB this season. Continue to ignore him in Fantasy.

Ekejiuba placed on injured reserve: Detroit placed LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (shoulder) on injured reserve on Wednesday, ending his season. Detroit confirmed the signing of CB Anthony Madison as Ekejiuba's replacement.

Chris Harris (S) out this week for Chicago. Surely this means that Conte or Steltz would get the opportunity to start, right? Of course not, newly-acquired Brandon Meriweather, cut by New England, will get the starting nod instead.

Foster carted off on Monday night : Colts DL Eric Foster left Week 4 against the Buccaneers after suffering a dislocated right ankle. Foster appeared to have his ankle rolled on just prior to halftime in the contest. He had to be carted off the field and did not return in the 24-17 loss. Foster was transported to the hospital, where he will be held overnight for observation.

1 minute ago - by Craig Morgan - Rhodes likely out for several weeks with broken foot
FS Kerry Rhodes suffered a broken bone in his left foot Sunday against the Vikings and is expected to miss several weeks. The Cards expect him back this season but it's a major blow for a team thin at safety. Rashad Johnson (third year) will take his place as starter. He has two career starts. Cardinals RapidReports

Gaither to miss 2-4 weeks: Panthers LB Omar Gaither (knee) was diagnosed with an MCL sprain and a bone bruise suffered in Week 5 against the Saints. He is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

All the serious injuries suffered yesterday were by black players. I've looked over a couple of injury lists today and every offensive player injured, whether seriously or just knocked out of the game, is black except for Matt Stafford, who may not miss any time, and Kevin Boss, who suffered a concussion.

Last year it became very clear, even to the most retarded DWF, that NFL teams had completely run out of black running backs to put into games, when the Colts were forced to sign a clearly washed up Dominic Rhodes from the UFL. Soon, if Weenie world is correct, a similar thing will happen as the Bucs appear poised to promote someone named Mossis Madu from their P-squad to play tailback this weekend.

I'm not a huge college football follower or draftnik, by any means, but it's rare that a runner from a top 10 school would sign that I've never even heard of at all!

Here's the deal on this guy: Looks bizarre, hybrid black and Asian, but is listed as having hispanic parents? Played at Oklahoma, where he switched between tailback and slot receiver and rushed for only 271 yards (0TD's) his junior and senior seasons combined. This guy is so "explosive" that his entire career totals as a receiver are 34 rec for 252 & 0 TD's.

No agenda here, folks. No wonder Brandon Wegher couldn't play for the Sooners with this sort of amazing talent ahead of him?

It's just all about signing the next best player in the NFL, so this has to make sense, right?...Guys like Dan Dierking and Chase Reynolds weren't drafted and will soon be out of football completely, so it looks like another entire draft class will go down in history without a single white tailback getting a touch in the NFL...but Madu might have a chance to start for Raheem's Dream Team this season....Thank goodness the fans in Tampa are rejecting this team -- not buying tickets, forcing TV blackouts year after year, but considering the Glazer's own Manchester United, they won't be hurting for money and an almost exclusively black squad should further the agenda in the NFL.

The word you are looking for is "genocide." And thanks to Mr. Cohen's words he once again proves that his people are the world's oldest genocide cult.

Hall done for the season: Cincinnati DB Leon Hall will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on injured reserve with a torn left Achilles tendon. Hall suffered the injury during the second quarter of Week 10 against Pittsburgh and was on crutches following the game. "I was kind of by myself," Hall said about the play he hurt himself on. "I just kind of planted and drove. It felt like somebody kicked me."

Moreno done for the season: It was not good news for Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno, who left Sunday's game against the Chiefs with a knee injury. Coach John Fox revealed Moreno suffered "an ACL injury that will require surgery" and he is lost for the season. Starting RB Willis McGahee was also hurt in the first half Sunday and the rushing workload then went to third-string RB Lance Ball.

Don't add Hankerson off waivers: Redskins coach Mike Shanahan delivered some disappointing news Monday. He revealed WR Leonard Hankerson, who had his first 100-yard performance Week 10, suffered a torn labrum in his hip and will be placed on season-ending IR. Shanahan called the injury "devastating." The rehab time for Hankerson's injury is four months.

Just came across this interesting tidbit within this story in regards to the Rams' injury woes:

( Al) Harris is the ninth cornerback to end up on injured reserve for the Rams this season. They have only four cornerbacks -- Justin King, Josh Gordy, Marquis Johnson and Rod Hood -- on their active roster.

So the Rams have lost nine supa-dupa affletic corners to injury just this year? Ah, but we know that whitey can't play the position. Pale faces don't have "loose hips" "burst" "quick-twitch recovery speed" and other "black-only" attributes that are required for a corner in the pros. Not having a room-brightening smile also is a negative.

The "two Clayton busts" at WR

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/492908/michael-clayton

Clayton headed for surgery: The Giants placed WR Michael Clayton on IR on Saturday. Clayton had been added to the official injury report for the Monday night game in New Orleans in Week 12 earlier on Saturday. Clayton was questionable with a knee injury but the Giants decided to end his season instead as it was discovered that he has a torn meniscus, reports the Giants' official site. Clayton will have surgery on Monday.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/408403/mark-clayton

The St. Louis Rams have placed Mark Clayton on injured reserve, pulling the plug on the wide receiver's adversity-filled season. Coach Steve Spagnuolo says Clayton has had issues with both knees and was in pain earlier in the practice week.
(Updated 11/25/11) STATS LLC
Advice Clayton had reconstructive knee surgery last October and has struggled with Achilles tendinitis since being activated off the PUP list, playing sparingly in two games. He had three catches for 26 yards last week against Seattle.
