The 22 year old won the italian championships with a time of 10.21. He ran a 10.13 in heats into a .1m/s headwind! His previous personal best was 10.25 this year. I believe this is the fastest time by a white in the last 2 years and low and behold it was with a negative headwind.

Just joking. That is a very fast time. What impresses me about this kid is that he is able to run these times consistantly. Let's hope he can continue to improve. Pickering ran a 10.13 and two 10.15 times last season. He would still be faster but Craig needs to step it up this year.

Cerutti ran a 10.13 in the heats. So he has the best time now. Hopefully there is alot more to come from all of these guys in this olympic year.

Nice to see Italy is finally producing a young sprinter who has world class potential. He could be another dark horse to final in Beijing.

Simone Collio is pretty good as well. They should have a good relay team soon with the young talent being developed there.
