I watched the Chargers game earlier in the week and had to listen to someone called J.C. Pearson. This guy was highly critical of any white player at every opportunity. And by "opportunity" I mean whenever there was a white guy in camera shot. It was so obvious that I can't understand how he can get away with it. He was very critical of Eric Weddle. On one play the Falcons tight end Peelle scored a touchdown when he was double teamed by Steve Gregory and a black DB. When the play was over Weddle came into shot. JC Pearson laid into him saying that it was Weddles fault. It was not a case of mistaken identity with Steve Gregory, as JC went on to point out Weddle in the replay and detail how Weddle was "late" getting into position. As Peelle was closely covered by two other DB's I'm sure he wasn't late and his job was to cover one of the wide receivers or another part of the field. It was ludicrous, but it didn't stop there. Every time LT got stopped for a loss or a short gain JC kindly explained to us how this was Jacob Hesters fault. One play sticks in my mind. The offensive line opened a hole in the middle of the defense and Hester went charging through then paused as there was no one to block. Meanwhile LT had tried to run around the edge of the line and got tacked for a loss. JC then replayed the play for us saying "What's Hester doing going through there. there aint no one to block. He then got his pen out and drew a line to the linebacker who tackled LT saying he should have blocked him. Again totally wrong. If Hester went right up the middle it must have been what his assigment was, and if LT had actually followed him (and been able to keep up, because Hester flies around the field) he would have made a nice gain. JC continued laying into mostly Weddle and Hester all game. he had a go at Wilhelm at one point fro being poor in coverage, biting on play action and being slow to drop back. Later on Weddle gave away a pass interference penalty. I watched the replay and didn't see anything wrong. In fact looked like pretty good coverage by Weddle. The receiver had got behind him, but he was very close. JC said that Weddle was badly beaten and then went into complete panic mode. I hope some others saw this game and can back up what I am saying. That JC pearson was totally biassed and definately has an agenda. Trouble is most people just watching a game on TV just accept what they are told by these "experts".
