2023 UNLV Rebels

Since 2006, the Rebels have started 9, 6, 9, 8, 8, 5, 6, 7, 9, 8, 7, 7, 4, 2, 3, 2, and 2 white players. In 2023, they are starting 3.

Jackson Woodard joins the fold as a transfer from Arkansas, where he started his career as a preferred walk-on before earning a scholarship. Presumably, he left his hometown team for playing team with this jet-black outfit.

UNLV actually has one more white starter DT Darius Johnson. He was probably understandably skipped over for his name but he is white as snow.

UNLV had a few interesting players who disappeared. Last year, Chad Magyar was announced as the starting RB in the spring then disappeared and quit the team. 6’2” WR speedster Jeff Weimer started some games last year then entered the transfer portal and hasn’t ended up anywhere.

This year walk on RB Andrew Wimmer was the leading rusher in the spring game.
