That is quite a few breaks going their way. I definitely don’t think the Chiefs were the best team this year, but they were the one left standing. Some of the “luck” was really the other team choking. The Chiefs have a cool and calm “been there before” demeanor because they have. Like a great tennis player, they held serve and waited for their opponent to mess up first.
Very good observation. They handled the pressure of the big game and moments that made it up better.

Lost in the media adoration for Mahomes (who played an ok game but very well down the stretch) is that Bosa and McCaffrey were two of the best players on the field, regardless of team.

Bosa had pressure all night and kept containment very well which limited Mahomes greatly.

CMC put up 160 yards from scrimmage against defense that keyed on him ALL game. The Chiefs dline took it to the 49ers’ oline plain and simple.

Deebo Samuel and Brock Purdy weren’t able to establish a good connection (3 catches on 11 targets) and that hurt San Fran.

Shanahan got out coached by Reid.

Congrats to the Chiefs and their stud white players.

I think San Fransisco is the team to beat in the NFC next year as well. Most will be coming back. I’d expect the offensive line and defensive backfield to be addressed in the draft and free agency.

2024 will be the year of the 49ers.

Shanahan is everybody's lovable loser, reminds me of a younger Fran Dunphy
I would say he is Mark Few with the recruits Few has taken to deep runs in the NCAA tournament in the last few years. He just can't get over the hump.

For anybody that cares the 49ers are the early betting favorites but futures bets are largely suckers bets because of injuries and the casinos taking your money for about a year if you bet the line shortly after they release early futures lines.

Chenal had 6 tackles, a forced fumble and an XP block in this game despite only getting 27 defensive snaps. With more snaps and most importantly a bigger name, he could've easily been the MVP. Glad to see him getting some recognition, modest as it may be.

Chenal should have been a 1st rd pick. Based on size, speed, strength, production, decent human being by all accounts. Outside of this site, no main stream cucks dare mention him as a 1st rounder. Ends up being a steal in the 3rd for KC.

Kyle Shanahan taking heat from many talking heads for various reasons. The reality is one team had to lose. The game couldn’t have been closer. I don’t understand why anyone has to assign blame for the loss.

Blacks always had each other’s backs… wish whites were the same way.

Feliciano correctly deflects DWF ire away from the white right tackles to the black right guard for the missed block that likely cost the 49ers the game winning touchdown. It wasn’t even a missed block… the idiot literally blocked the wrong guy and let the one right in front of him go unblocked.

Thug Jalen Carter attacks Feliciano.

Jon Feliciano exposes more thug behavior from Eagles’ Jalen Carter, who probably should have never gotten the chance to play in the league.

Who do you blame for the missed blocking assignment on the OT 3rd and 4? Many people are blaming the tackle but it clearly was the sumo right guard's mistake. The tackle had to stay to block the end line-up on Kittle as Kittle was releasing and may have even been the primary target. The guard should have obviously known this if he understood the play correctly. If he blocks correctly Kittle or Jennings get the TD or at least the first down. Both were open, but Kittle was going to be wide open as the Chiefs #20 blitzed vacating the area. Ayuk was the last read so really his being open was immaterial. Shanihan or Purdy could not have predicted that such a dumb blunder would happen. However, I still think you run the ball with CMC and then run it again if he doesn't get it. And reconsidering OT taking the ball instead of deferring, I think I would have taken the ball. Shanihan is right in scoring third ends the game. Mahomes almost was surely likely to score in some way - FG or TD whether they took the ball first or second. That leaves the only way to win the game is to score a TD after a FG like Mahomes did or to score third.

Yes it is most likely TNB hopefully Football Dad is ok.
Thanks wile, I appreciate the concern. Yeah, no way I was going to go fight the crowds to catch a glimpse of (insert player name). I can watch on TV. Worst part aside from the innocent bystanders shot by the gangbangers trying to kill each other was the predictable gun-grabbers hue and cry. I spent a little time on X asking them to list what gun laws would have prevented this. I did not receive a single rational reply.

Did anyone catch that commercial where they shows the nfls foreign recruiting efforts? Where they go straight to Africa to get “underrepresented “ athletes???

Not content with a league that’s 80 percent black, the nfl is now recruiting straight from Africa.

Of course I don’t doubt they could find some African players of merit, but the tone of the commercial was just nauseating.

I didn't see the commercial but the NFL has been heavily recruiting Africans for years. A search revealed this tidbit. It sounds high but then again there's a lot of players in the league now with African surnames so this is probably accurate. Nigerians likely make up the bulk of them:

In the league today, there are currently over 125 players of African descent (born in Africa or children born to African immigrants), per the NFL. Last year, the National Football League's “NFL Africa” program expanded to Kenya as the League continues to invest in growing the game at all levels across the continent.

You would think they would want to scout the European countries, especially Scandinavian ones, for the best combination of size, strength and athleticism.

Or Russian as there are absolute monsters in that country.

Kittle two catches for four yards? Ouch.

I noticed Justin Watson three catches for 54 yards. 18 yard average. Nice.

I wonder if Duhdarius is showing off his new super bowl ring. And where was he during the parade?

I remember pounding the table for the Dolphins to draft Chenal in the 3rd round that year in the draft. He would have looked nice with fellow Wisconsin Badger Andrew Van Ginkel at LB. Instead we took non-descript afflete LB Channing Tindall out of Georgia (another colossal SEC BUST who can't even get on the field) This is the kind of shyte that has made me all but turn off the NFL for good. The only reason I even still follow the Dolphins at all is so I can report what's going on down here on this website.

Frustrating as heck! I get it! Another SEC bust that no one will mention, besides us. Again.

Culpepper over Brees
Charles Harris over TJ Watt (forgot who we even drafted and had to look it up he's that bad a bust)
Tua over Herbert

Honestly in another timeline we might have had a SB win with Brees and Saban. Instead we signed Culpepper and have been putting out coal black teams ever since.

Shula always had plenty of white defenders on his teams in the 70s and 80s. Maybe we should've stuck with that formula?
