They have him as an athlete and DT. This Whopper eating tub of lard is an athlete? Man when you have great white athletes being passed up for morbidly obese affletes like this you know something is wrong in the recruiting world. He must have those loose hips and breakaway speed. Hahaha. Nebraska was recruiting him to be a DT I believe.

What a joke. If he can play HB in college, then somebody like Jared Crick (Nebraska DT) should be able to too.

This just in: Obama has received the Heisman trophy in college athletics.

The search committee learned that he might have watched a college football game on TV at one point in his life!

<div>Jatashun Beachum (that's not a typo, it's really his name) has committed to play for the Hogs. this 6-2, 300-pound tub o' lard is listed as being a svelte 275-pounds and running a 4.6 forty by Rivals.

<div>what's the big deal, right? well, the Razorbacks have said they see him as a potential ... tailback. </div>

Wow this is outrageous JC! This post, JaFARCEus Hustle still starting and Peyton Hillis being demoted to 4th string after playing like a Pro Bowler in the NFL- are sure fire proof of a caste system. Oh, add to that 55% of Rivals top 20 QBs being black and 99% of their top 100 WRs. The hate on whites by these EVIL people at Rivals has reached an all time high.

This is an organization that also ranked "tailback" Brad Rogers one slot behind Mike Trumpy last year and had Iowa DWFs all excited about him as a tailback, but your example is even worse! Rogers ran for about a third of the yards Brandon Wegher ran for (in his senior year) in his entire H.S career. Rogers ran for a paltry 5 YPC for H.S football for his career and runs a 4.65 40 yard dash (might be inflated) with a 4.5 short shuttle giving him a bad agility difference as well. Rogers highlights are unimpressive to boot, but some Iowa DWFs on Scout.com were saying in the summer in a Wegher thread,
"whose to say Brad Rogers won't be the future starting tailback for Iowa?"
I didn't think it could get more ridiculous than that, but it has!

Jatashun Beachum(ed) Whale is a H.S QB who completed only 44% of his passes as a sophomore and ran for a mere 246 yards on 3.4 YPC and completed only 44% of his passes for 535 yards and 3 TDs with 2 INTs. It says on his Rivals profile that he's a 300 pounder with 4.65 speed (yeah, like 4.9 realistically) and he's never been a true tailback before, yet this guy is ranked almost as high as Sam McGuffie was in 2008 and Brandon Wegher and Rex Burkhead were last year! It says this FATSO projects to "TAILBACK" at Arkansas and he's ranked higher than Brandon Bourbon (Rivals top white tailback) by rating this year and 29 spots ahead of Rivals top white "athlete" Channing Fugate, who "might" get to play some tailback.

Oh yeah, Fugate ran for more than 12 times more yards than Beachum did last year on 10.9 YPC compared to 3.4 for Jatashun the Beachumed Whale who's an option QB, not a tailback! Are people really this nuts and is Rivals really LAWSUIT proof? It should be easy for white high school athletes to sue them for slander and lost income when it's this obvious! America has either entered the "Twilight Zone" or people are really MUCH stupider than I thought, if they can't see through this garbage...Rant Finished!

Do I have to say it? The refereess for the Florida and Arkansas game gave the game to Florida by a few questionable calls! This is the exact same crew that officiated in the Georgia and LSU game.

But Bequette and Stadther dominated all day in a nationally televised game against the Gators' supposedly impenetrable line. So it was a good game.

I didn't watch the game, but people all over the internet are complaining about "Florida priviledge."

It's true that there were two very bad calls that kept a Florida drive alive late in the game and allowed them to score a tying touchdown. But bad calls happen in football. Always have, always will.
It's also true that if Arkansas had used someone other than lardass Broderick Green on a key third down play, they wouldn't have needed to try a very difficult kick to take a three point lead. There were only 4 minutes left. A first down in that situation would have let them run the clock down below a minute and given them opportunity to set up an easy field goal for the win. It was a personnel mistake by Arkansas. They've watched Green screw up all season. He's big, but he's weak. He gets no penetration. He doesn't deserve to be playing.

every play where Broderick Green touches the ball is a wasted play, in my opinion.

best-case scenario: Green makes a play that any scholarship running back in the nation can make, because he has no play-making ability himself.

worst-case scenario: Green screws up.

most commonscenario: Green runs like the gigantic pussy he is and embarrasses himself. again. i swear, there isn't a bigger pussy in the porno industry than Green.

Straight from the SEC-Refs Suspended
http://www.secsports.com/news/sec-suspends-officiating-crew.aspx
SEC FOOTBALL OFFICIATING CREW SUSPENDED

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 21, 2009) -- The officiating
crew from Saturday's Arkansas at Florida football game will be removed
from its next scheduled assignment on Oct. 31 and will not be assigned
to officiate as a crew until Nov. 14, Southeastern Conference
Commissioner Mike Slive announced Wednesday.

"A series of calls that have occurred during the last several weeks
have not been to the standard that we expect from our officiating
crews," said Slive. "I believe our officiating program is the best in
the country, however, there are times when these actions must be taken."

Following each weekend, the conference office reviews games from the
previous week, using video replays as well as interviews with
officials, coaches and administrators.

"While only a few calls have been identified, the entire crew shoulders
responsibility for each play. I have taken this action because there
must be accountability in our officiating program," added Slive. "Our
institutions expect the highest level of officiating in all of our
sports and it is the duty of the conference office to uphold that
expectation."

In addition, there will be an impact on eligibility for post-season bowl assignments for the crew.

Well, all I can say is that fans and radio DJs all over the state said the Ole Miss game was a must win for Arkansas and that if Arkansas lost then the wheels were off the program.

It's time to let Tyler Wilson have his shot. Mallett can't throw a ball under 40 yards. He's also slower than Andre the Giant. They claim that Wilson has trouble with the snap under Center. So what? With as much pressure as Ole Miss was bringing today, it would've been better to run the shotgun every snap. A few 7 yard dumps would've slowed that all-out blitz enough to open up the running game. Petrino is too stubborn. Willy Robinson, Garrick McGee, and Broderick Green all need to be replaced. And Mallett needs to sit out for a half of some game. Until they get the personnel problems sorted out, they will remain the doormat of the SEC.

Mallett has a BIG arm and throws a great deep ball. other than that, he has next to nothing that makes for a good quarterback except for his huge size. but in addition to his complete lack of mobility, inability to read a defense, inability to check down to find the open receiver, and so forth, he is also a huge pussy. Mallett and "tailback" Broderick Green should have lesbian sex together or something. seriously, i've never seen two bigger pussies on a football team.

while Mallett certainly played poorly against Ol' Miss, he was helped in his horrid play by the also horrid receiver play. i counted at least 10 drops by Razorback wideouts. not surprisingly, the team's best wideout (White athlete Lucas Miller) was not thrown to or hardly seen, for that matter.

"genius" head coach Bobby Petrino has tried to create the best passing attack in the SEC, and he's done so by virtually eliminating from his offensive game plan his two best receivers from a year ago: wideout Lucas Miller (white) and tight end D.J. Williams (black). real smart move there, genius.

Newspapers wouldn't be in such dire straits if they had people like you in the sports section.

Arkansas, of all teams, should have realized Houston Nutt's ability to get a team up for the game and prepare for it. There is no excuse for Ole Miss sneaking up on them!

Agreed. Now if they would just sign more of the in-state high-school championship-team talent, then they might be even better.....

I disagree, its time we move on and go after players that we used to not be able to get.

STUNNA, your ignorance of how the U of A football program is run is telling. They recruit from a pool of players that is not even half the size of the potential talent pool of the state. The current pool being mostly black players in Arkansas. Nutt wouldn't recruit or play whites at several positions, and neither will Petrino.

You mention players that "we used to not be able to get". Who on earth would that be?? The Razorbacks are a high-visibility SEC team, part of a decent-quality university in an idyllic setting in Fayetteville. If the staff was competent, they could recruit and get any player that they wanted. I was saying it might be nice if they actually stopped profiling and instead chose the best players.

The truth of the matter is most FBS teams' starting lineups should look like Stanford and Iowa. And by golly those teams are damn good this year and both could win their conference titles!

Stunna, our goal isn't to hold blacks out of playing football, but in a 13% black country, it's ridiculous that the FBS is majority black. Blacks own a 100% monopoly at certain positions based on racist propaganda. For instance whites are 4 of the top 10 NFLdraftscout prospect WRs and we have 11 whites in the top 50 in FBS receiving yards, yet Rivals has 1 white in their top 100 WR prospects. 55% of White Rivals top 20 QB prospects (from both Pro Style and Dual Threat) are black. If you don't see the bias, you are either uninformed, stupid or racist yourself.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

First off I know alot about the razorback program and have played with and against many od there players. Second off if you think that arkansas is a big dog in talent you are blind. We are getting to the point where we are going after the kids in florida, texas, southern cal, and anywhere else they may be a big time recruit. Petrino did a very goos job his first year here recruiting.

I just watched the YouTube highlight video of Jatashun "Big Tex"(!) Beachum-ed whale. He is definitely not fast, although he does have decent feet for a big guy, might make a nice right tackle someday. As for the opponents, aren't they coached to tackle big guys low?? Now Beachum certainly isn't doing much for his team, Smith HS is terrible, with their 3-7 record (in Division 4A, Region II), and Beachum, although his numbers are slightly more efficient this year, he has terrible stats for a D1 prospect! The point is, if he had the same highlight film, same measurables, same statistics, and he were white, he would not even be listed on the recruiting sites, let alone a 3 STAR prospect with a scholarship to a major university.
