Yuck, Brian Kelly a disappointment. He's so highly paid now that I doubt he'd ever buck the Caste System in any ways ever again.

Yep a far cry from his Grand Valley, CMU and Cincinnati days. Notre Dame was ok some seasons under his tenure. He's another great example of a coach that built his career off the success of White athletes only to ignore them and kneel at the altar of the caste system.

Surprised Garrett Nussmeier stuck around TBH. Kelly is a snake oil salesman so he probably fed the young QB some lies. Glad Walker Howard and Jack Bech escaped.

Kelly is a pos, as a person and as a caste clown. His best teams always had white qbs but he constantly recruited black qbs once at nd

An injury opened the door for Freshman stud LB Whit Weeks to make his first career "Start" vs Mississippi State...he LED THE TEAM in TACKLES! Shows next level explosiveness and instincts! Even Dwf' noticed he was going to be hard to keep off the field when the original starter (Speights) returns (All PAC 12 Oregon St transfer)
Last night Whit Weeks was 3rd in Tackles....Sports boards were calling him "Animal" at times in the 1st half.

Has a older brother (Jr.) West Weeks back up LB that hopefully gets more opportunity.

Promising young speedy DB Matthew Langlois missed most of last season (knee injury); not sure if he reaggrevated it in August Summer Camp?? . Playing time should be ripe for the picking as LSU's DB's have struggled!

Freshman TE Mac Markway got the start last week (due to injured Starter); should have a bright future; but still has a ways to go.
