why not multiple teams like Air Force

In looking at the Air Force Falcons, one sees that a virtually all white team, with a white secondary, white "skill position" players etc. can do quite respectable.
Now, I'm assuming that Air Force can only recruit very smart intelligent athletes, who can hold up to high Air Force Academy requirements. So, its not as if Air Force found the best white cornerbacks, best white receivers etc. who were not picked up by other colleges, they had to find academically smart players. And yet, in spite of that restriction, they are still a good team.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is how many other teams could have an all white defensive secondary (lets use that as an example as there are so many less white cornerbacks than receivers for instance in colleges)if Air Force can recruit one in spite of its academic restrictions?
Put another way, if Air Force can show the way in spite of their academic restrictions, imagine how many potential all white or nearly all white college teams could be recruited without such stringent academic restrictions.

I agree. AF is headed to a 8-3 season, bowl game and a possible top 25 ranking. Actually, they are one missed field goal from being in the top 20 right now.

I watched them against ND and they had 11 white starters on each side of the ball.

It's not just the academics. You have to commit to air force for x years. Many top prospects won't do that. Chad Henning was diamond in the rough type as far as I remember.

The success of Air Force is huge, for so many reasons. Merely the fact that young white athletes can spend a Saturday watching an all white football team thoroughly defeat the likes of Notre Dame is quite significant.


Even further, Air Force rips apart the Caste System. Air Force's strengths are its running backs, cornerbacks, and safeties. Air Force depends on speed to win, as its lineman are undersized (as is the case with all service academies because of weight restrictions).


Just as all white teams are the class of 5A High School football in Texas, this same concept can easily trickle upward to major college football.

I wonder if North Texas will be getting whiter now that the former southlake carrol high school coach is coaching there, I know he is getting a lot of heat this year because NT is just not winning, but he coached some of the top teams in the country in high school, and those teams where mostly white. He know he had success with them, I just hope he won't be affraid to recruit them.

well, he's giving a lot of carries to a white, true freshman tailback. that's a good sign, in my book.

hopefully, he will continue to do that sort of recruiting. though, to be honest, he took over a team that didn't exactly have the cupboard filled with talent if you catch my meaning. it'll take time for him to develop a strong program.

Not to hijack the Air Force thread, but North Texas is at a huge disadvantage by playing in the Sun Belt conference. The best he can hope for is to turn things around and have that one big year (9+ wins) that can catapult him on to a bigger job.
