arabs are low on econmic ladder too but aren't overrepresented except in maybe france.
And would you say that minoritys in france are more poor then in holland germany etc. ? I don't think so.

Cartouche said:
I'll bet you include even mulattos, who are less than 50% black, as "black".

I briefly looked at the stasts of PL and it seems obvious that PL has been "getting black" not only due to foreigners, but also due to native-born black "Englishmen". I estimate that they make up about 35% of all "blacks" in PL. So it is a socioeconomic issue in the UK, similarly like in France.

Black legionnaries in PL are less numerous than non-black players, and when you take into consideration that PL attracts the majority of black football players from the world, the numbers look far more impressive. Black players are rather rare in Italy and Spain, and not too prolific in Germany. The French "ghetto league" is a special case, of course.

Don't waste your time with these stats. Blacks don't have any particular predispositions for soccer (except for some positions) and their overrepresentation is always primarily socioeconomical. It is simply an occupation preference for those from the lowest part of the societal ladder.

Cartouche - Well, if You had happened to place a bet on it, then You would have collected as, yes, I do include mulattos. Tar black, splattered nosed African, "lighter" mulatto, octoroon, "high yaller' or whatever - it's all the same thing as the issue at hand is that such zoological phenomena aren't White. I shall persist with reiterating this type of question in response to biological pedantry: would You like Your sister or daughter to marry a mulatto? No? Why not? After all, they have some white blood which elevates them above the cotton-picking, sugarcane-harvesting field Negro, correct? The mulatto must therefore be so much more acceptable in the eyes of the truly discerning White - after all, the behaviour of mulattos is so radically different to that of Your 100% genuine,off-the-tree African jungle dweller. If You are arguing that such "mixed" specimensgain their so-called sporting ability from their white parents or more distant white ancestors You must surely be aware that the media definitely spouts the direct opposite - viz. that black ancestry is an advantage when it comes to any physical activities, be it sport, combat, dancing, or in the bedroom with the curtains drawn...

I believe it is quite clear that neither I nor other posters are claimimg that blacks possess a particular predisposition for football. The socoieconomic factors of the black presence in football (and other sports), rooted in the Negroes' congenital intellectual deficiencies and proportionate overabundance of indolence, have already been discussed in various threads. Such factors alone, however, do not suffice to explain the racial dynamics of football in particular and sport in general, which is a prime implement in the propagandist's toolbox.

You mentioned the role of English-born blacks - believe me when I say that as a percentage of the total population there ar far more "poor" and "deprived" White kids in Britain than black kids in the same situation, yet the blacks are always mysteriously vastly overrepresented in football. Why, pray tell, is that?

If You are French, then sure, given the situation in Your country You may hold the opinion that black players are comparatively "rare" in other parts of Europe, but I invite You to peruse the statistics which I have "wasted my time" in providing for certain European leagues in both this and the following threads:

http://www.castefootball.us/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13395&title=european-leagues-white-black-ratios-2010--2011

http://www.castefootball.us/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13104&title=the-brazilian-disease

If You believe that generally having a minimum of one to three non-White players in the majority of starting lineups around Europe is nothing to be worried about, well, that's fine - but I don't agree. Have You happened to notice that blacks are also heavily overrepresented in the "glamorous" striking positions, which naturally ensures that black players are highly visible in highlights packages as heroic matchwinning goalscorers. Once one factors in substitutes and squad players, then the black and other non-White presence becomes even more imposing. And what does all of this mean? Why, it means less opportunity for Whites of course and provides more "black physical superiority" ammunition for leftists, who can happily consecrate Negroes, mulattos or whatever You prefer to label them as the idols of impressionable football-daft White kids, with all of the negative consequences.

No, nothing to be worried about at all, really...

Yet again, a black striker in an otherwise overwhelmingly White team receives all of the photographic publicity. The White English defender Gary Cahill scored Bolton's first, while the black Daniel Sturridge, who is on loan from Chelsea, got the second. Sturridge's image is in every story, while Cahill and the other Bolton players are nowhere to be seen:

Hence the profusion of black strikers all around Europe...

I'm sick today, so I'm watching Fulham vs. Chelsea. From what I've gathered, Chelsea dropped Diddier Drogba in the starting lineup for Fernando Torres, so they've gotten a little whiter.

Fulham is starting 9 whites(with a fair number of Englishmen) and 2 blacks.

Chelsea might as well be the Tampa Bay Bucs or Washington Redskins of the EPL. They started 5 whites(including Brazilian David Luiz.) 6 blacks(One is from Ghana, another from Brazil, 1 from France, Guyana, and Cole is from England.)Edited by: Jack Lambert

Well, the match ended 0-0, but Clint Dempsey had a great chance to win the match for Fulham at the end of the game.

Fulham finished with 10 whites and 1 black, and Chelsea finished with 4 whites and 7 blacks.

Yes, but then Chelsea substituted Torres in the 2nd half, bringing on Drogba who, incidentally, seemed to be guilty of encroachment during that missed penalty by Dempsey.

It does happen a lot. If you go to the BBC site, it seems there are always 3 or 4 black guys hugging each other in celebration. Rooney's goal is getting a lot of play in the US on sports highlight show. I even saw it today, 2 days later.

I hope that You're feeling better, mate.

Too bad that Clint Dempsey was unable to convert the penalty as it always gladdens the heart to see Chelsea lose...

Matra1 - If the situation was reversed and one of Fulham's players encroached during a Chelsea penalty insimilarstoppage-time circumstances, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the referee had called for it to be retaken...

I just popped onto the website of theBelgian Le Soir newspaperand what do I see heading up the sports section? A relation of last night's match between Lierse and Mechelen (2-1), complete with the following photograph (groan):

Watched today's FA Cup match of Man City vs. Notts county, and was pretty demoralized.

Man City won 5-0, but only one white player, Bosnia's Edin Dzeko scored. Hopefully this won't be a trend and Silva, Barry and Johnson get in on the action.
