Manziel was traded to Montreal. June Jones wasn't going to give him a shot with his magical quotaback in place. Let's hope Manziel makes the most of the opportunity.

Sounds like Montreal has some QB injury issues so this could be a good chance for Manziel to start playing soon.

Manziel to start this Friday against his former team. Good luck to him.

That was ugly. No touchdowns and 4 interceptions? Only a few yards rushing? I know he was rusty but that was a disaster. I wonder if he gets another start?

Montreal is not a good team I am surprised he did as well as he did.

He also doesn't have chemistry with his receivers and the Hamilton defense had a decent scouting report on Manziel as he was the second unit quarterback. Give this comeback a few more games before we get a clearer picture of what Johnny has left in the tank.

PS I hope Montreal has some provisions of Manziel seeking therapy during the season as losing large could set off triggers to binge drink again. Montreal isn't the city for white knuckle sobriety.
