I'd like to thank those members of CF who phoned and emailed VPX Supplement Company! We have managed to change their racist advertisement.
Their original advertisement for NO Shotgun reads:
"Are you the chosen 1 in 10,000 that God blessed with a ton of fast twitch muscle? Probably not. Visualize a white male who trains intensely and eats right for a solid ten years and then a typical brother walks into the gym for the first time and is leaner and more muscular having never touched a weight. White men can't jump for a reason -- they don't have enough fast twitch muscle!"
The May 6th issue of Muscle and Fitness now reads:
"Are you the chosen "1 in 10,000" that God blessed with a ton of fast twitch muscle? Probably not. So for you and almost all of us, we have to train hardcore just to coerce out genetically limited amount of muscle to increase in size ever so slightly. And, as you know, this really sucks. Visualize the individual who trains intensely and eats right for 10 solid years and a new member walks into the gym for the first time ever and is leaner and more muscular having never touched a weight. Some men and women just aren't as gifted with enough fast twitch muscle and, therefore, struggle with their God given genetics."
We have made a difference, albeit small, for the improvement of the white athlete's psyche.
However, why stop there? I encourage all of you to call and email demanding a written apology to be expressed in their next advertisement campaign. Mariusz Pudzianowski will be the cover model. It will read: "Visualize the black male who trains intensely and eats right for 10 solid years and a white brother walks into the gym for the first time ever and is leaner and more muscular having never touched a weight. Black males can't compete in strength sports for a reason, they just aren't as gifted with enough fast twitch muscle, static strength, and endurance, and therefore, struggle with their God given genetics."
