The NBA Pre Season Games started last night. Dallas will play Milwaukee tonight. We all love Dallas here. I want to see how Payton Pritchard does for the Boston Celtics. We have alot of new guys on different teams. Should be a good season but no doubt about it that Dallas and Miami are the two top teams to root for in my opinion. Atlanta might be better too with both Bogdanovic and Gallinari now on the roster. Payton Prtichard looking good on Celtics Media Day about to start his rookie season.
Lmao. He is as far as I'm concerned. I don't see but a trace of asian ancestry. Glad to see the Atlanta Hawks have 3 of our guys now. Kevin Huerter, Danilo Gallinari and Bogdon Bogdanovic.
The Bucks signed Nik Stauskas, who spent last season playing in Spain after a dearth of NBA offers. He was the 9th overall draft pick in 2014 and got stuck on some terrible teams (5 in 5 years). He's a former Big Ten player of the year and always had an incredible three point stroke, but was never a plus defender. No idea what he worked on in Spain, and no guarantee he'll even make the roster at this point. If he's improved his ball-handling, he might be able to slide into Eric Bledsoe's former role and provide an offensive spark for the backup unit. Nik was always considered more of a Kyle Korver type though, and that would be a fine addition for the Bucks, who definitely needed shooting last year. The Bucks may be starting DiVincenzo at SG along with Brook Lopez at center. Pat Connaughton (perhaps my favorite player) was re-signed as a role player. Another whitey in the rotation could make the Bucks a decent team to watch. Well, a decent box score to follow anyway... the NBA is tough to stomach.
More preseason on TNT tonight. Nothing to see, really. I was just shocked when they showed Marv Albert still working games...looks like a ghoul with the same bad wig.
Payton Pritchard played his first nba game tonight. All he did was score 16 pts, 4 rebounds and 2 assists! Very nice for his very first time playing as a professional. Excited to see what he can do for the Boston Celtics. I just wish Gordan Hayward would have stayed there. Why would he go to the Hornets? Bad career move in my opinion. https://twitter.com/i/status/1339044116517146625
Duncan Robinson just drained four threes in the first quarter for Miami... Luka and the Mavs are on later this evening. College note.....Iowa on the big ten network tonight at 8:00...... Merry Christmas everyone.......
Just another ho hum night for Jokic: 19 pts 18 assists and 12 rebounds. The 18 assists were the most by a center since wilt chamberlain in 1968 the triple double also moves him up to 9th on the time list
A new career high for Payton Pritchard tonight even off the bench. The kid is probably going to become a starter before too long. He is just that good. Hard to hold a good man down! Payton Pritchard tonight 23 points 8 assists 8/13 FG 5/5 FT
Very cool to see Pritchard doing so well already! Also, Nikola Jokic is leading the league in assists with 11.9 per game. It’s super early in the season, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a center among the leaders. He is definitely one of the best passing big men of all time. A fantastic talent, sort of like a prime Arvydas Sabonis.
That is quite impressive assist totals for a big man. He's doing things never done before at that position and he's not an above the rim player. Really happy to see him blossom since he's been drafted. Bonafide All Star now!
Wanted to comment on Kevin Huerter. He's averaged over 10ppg last 3 season's. Solid. Donte D has had an even bigger jump going from 4 ppg to 8.5 last year to 13.5 this season! Nice!
How about Domantas Sabonis and the seasons start he is off to. His dad was one of the nba's greatest players ever. Domantas Sabonis is currently averaging 21 pts, 11.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Amazing stats from an incredibly gifted & talented player!
The Miami Heat played the Philly Sixers tonight. They lost in overtime in a very close hard fought game but it was worth watching from our perspective. Tyler Herro who is in his 2nd season and only 20 years of age is now the starting point guard for the Miami Heat. He is already averaging about 16 pts a game and he will only get better from here. This kid has talent oozing out of his veins and has ice in his blood. Very mature at such a young age. Stats from tonights game: We had 3 of our guys starting. Tyler Herro 34 pts, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 shot block. Duncan Robinson 26 pts, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal & 1 shot block. Kelly Olynyk 15 pts, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 shot block.
Here is a great article on Tyler Herro on his way to becoming a future all star! https://www.nba.com/heat/news/herro...m_source=twitter_heat&utm_campaign=heatdotcom
Luka Doncic had his 29th career triple double today. All he dis was score 36 pts, 15 assists, 16 rebounds and 2 steals. Just another day at the office for Legend Luka! Krystaps Porzingis is slowly getting back into form. He has 20 pts, 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. If the Mavs are going to be a legitimate NBA Finals Contender they need this dynamic duo to lead the way. I would also love to see Luka Doncic with the MVP. I thought he was robbed of it last year. It's his 3rd year and he is the best overall player in the NBA! It's hard to argue that as he does everything.
HUGE GAME for Luka! ONLY the 4th player in NBA History to get 35 -15 - 15! Good to see Porzingis back! Lauri Markkanen had 29 pts & 10 rebs for the Bulls The Joker Nikola Jokic 35 points 14 rebs & 9 assist! Doug McDermott got his 1st start of the season for the Pacers....scored 23 points; Domantas Sabonis 19 pts & 14 rebs Luke Kennard 20 pts off the bench for the Clippers
One very important guy who is a stud that we are not talking about nearly enough. How good has he been. Nikola Jokic is averaging a triple double so far this season and almost leading the nba in assists as a center! Nikola Jokic Season Stats in 2021 so far: 25 pts per game, 11.4 rebounds and 10.3 assists per game. Jokic is averaging a triple double every night!
Who is playing on MLK day? I'm getting a kick out of the fact that the non-black leftists have at least for this year forgotten all about their tool. But I cannot imagine the NBA forgetting.
