I'm really sad Kristoffer Hari missed out on the European Youth Champs. I'm really enjoying watching it but it would have been far more enjoyable with the number one junior euro sprinter in the competition!

Some other news from Germany. Lucas Jacubuk ran a 10.27 coming off a hamstring injury in his first race back. He was the german 100 meter champion from 2012 and Julien Reus is this years 100 & 200 meters champ. Lucas has so much talent but he is almost 30 so I have a feeling that injuries are going to start slowing him down a little more often. I hope I'm wrong. This kid was a long jumper until 27 years of age. Another case of an athlete in the wrong event.

As I suspected, Gemili was not chosen to run in the 100m at the World Championships in Moscow. His time at the Euro 23 Champs was not as fast as those who ran in the British Championships. So he was passed over in the selection.
The good news however, is that he will represent Britain in the 200m at Moscow.
I think he might be able to make the finals and get a personal best.

I was more muscular than this at 16. I also only used light dumbells between 10 - 25 lbs. I didn't take any steroids or supplements.

The Borlee Brothers are back! Jonathan Borlee ran a 20.38 today to win into a negative wind. Very nice time. His brother Kevin Borlee did even better. Kevin ran a european leading time of 44.73 in the 400 meters! With the world champs only a few weeks away, things are starting to
heat up. I hope both of these guys can maintain their form heading to Moscow!

Anyone know what happened to hurdles Petr Svoboda and LJ Van Zyl? Van Zyl had some eye popping times in the 400h a couple years ago and haven't seen much from him since. Same with Svoboda in the 110h.

Artu Noga won the 110 hurdles in a seasons best time of 13.29! It's good to see him finally getting his times down a little lower. The greek hurdler Konstadínos Douvalídis also ran a new p.b. and national record or 13.33! Renaud Lavillenie of France continues to dominate the world in the Pole Vault going for another world lead of 5.96! This guy is incredible.

Haven't heard anything new on either of those guys. Svoboda is talented but I don't see him having the talent necessary to get to the next level. I think he would be better off in another even or maybe in the longer hurdles.

Young Dylan Borlee ran 45.80 for 400m this weekend, placing 2nd behind his older brother Kevin Borles who ran in the high 44 second range. This family is possibly the most talented track family ever. Three world clase 200/400 meter guys and their sister Olivia is a professional track star too!

Karol Zalewski who is 19 ran a 10.24 in the Polish National Champs but it was just a tad too much wind. This kid is a legitimate double threat over both 100 & 200 meters. The best sprinter I have seen come out of Poland since Dariusz Kuc. Watch this kid closely!

With Gay, Blake and Powell out and It would be fair to say Gatlin is cheating again as he is running faster than he ever did whe he was juicing, and I expect James Dasolau to fail a test soon does this bode well for Lemaitre?
I could only see Nesta Carter and Vicaut and Bolt giving him problems in the 100 in Moscow if he gets a miracle start.
Is Yoshihide Kiryu going to run? I like Yamagata's chances of getting to the finals if he is competing.

Yes Dasolau probably got a connection to a PED routine. He is more ripped and took about 15/100ths' off his pb this year? It smells fishy. I would say all of the favorites to beat Lemaitre are probably juiced as they all look sinewy and muscular similar to various stars and lesser lights that have been busted.

I am not sold on Vicaut yet. I wonder if he continues to progress and Lemaitre fades and Vicaut IS TAKING something would that persuade Lemaitre to get on the sauce. Its a lot to ponder but I wonder what Lemaitre could run if he was juiced up?

This weekend is going to be great guys. We have four of the guys we root for entered in the 100 meters B Race and Christophe Lemaitre is entered in the 100 & 200 A Races against a quality field. Let's hope for some hot weather with either no wind or positive legal winds. Here is the link to the start lists. This is going to be fun.

That sure doesn't seem fare to the sprinters. Especially only a couple of weeks out from the world champs. Can you imagine if some guys got hurt because there wasn't enough time to recover? Poor planing by the directors of the meet. Other than that we should see alot of fireworks in many of the events including the hurdles and long jump.

The mens B Race has Kilty, Robertson, Cackett and Gemeli all going head to head against some very good competition. I'm interested to see how these youngsters do. Andrew Robertson is coming off a wind legal 10.14 so he has run faster than Gemeli this year. I hope all four of these guys throw down new personal best times.

As for the main event in the 100 & 200 meters A Races, I'm hoping Lemaitre can return to form. He needs some confidence. A win or two would be great but the times are the most important thing for his confidence. He has to prove to himself and his coach that he can hit that extra gear again. He also needs to start better. Hopefully he stays relaxed through alll phases of both races. When you run tight and try to hard the times always suffer.

I'm sending Christophe some positive energy. Show them why you are called "The Master". The time is now Christophe!

James Dasaolu has all of a sudden become fast at age 25. Last year his PB was 10.09 and then all of a sudden this year he runs 9.91! Can anyone seriously knock 0.18 off their PB at age 25? That would be like lemaitre running 9.74 all of a sudden.

your right parrot, eyebrows have been raised among some athletics experts in relation to desaolu..at 25 it is too big a difference especially when a sprinter is at low 10s to suddenly run .2 quicker...implies 2things , the guy never goes sub 10 again( gardner, pognon) or he begins to do so with regularity , which means drugs!!!

James Dasaolu reminds me of Simeon Williamson who went to Jamaica in the off season several years back. He stepped off the plane looking far different than when he had left England. He proceeded to have the best season of his career until the injuries came. If Dasaolu is on some kind of peds which I wouldn't doubt, he will be lucky if he doesn't get hurt. Hell even Chambers went from running in the 10.30's and 10.40's early in the summer to now almost 10 flat. How did he get so fast in a short period of time? In athletics you always have to wonder what is going on behind the scene?

Then you have a kid like Andrew Robertson who works a job on the side and carries some extra body fat. He is not that cut or muscular but he just ran a personal best. It's obvious that this kid is clean. It's too bad that he has to run against guys who probably are cheating as they have deeper muscular definition than alot of bodybuilders.

If you go to any of the mainstream message boards ie Let's Run and a few others people are wondering out loud about Dasaolu too. Here is a story about the speculation and the GB team for Moscow. Note 3 Caucasian runners are in the short sprint relay pool. You will probably have to go back to the time of Wells and Cameron Sharp when that has happened.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/10...saolu-says-UK-Athletics-chief-Neil-Black.html

While I'm happy about those guys making the relay team, a couple of our guys got screwed again. Richard Kilty took 2nd in the 200 at the national champs and that is supposed to guarantee him a spot on the 200 individual team but both he and Danny Talbot were left of to take Delano Williams(who finished 3rd at nationals)from Jamaica originally and he is only 19 with little experience! He is not even a true United Kingdom Guy. I don't know why he didn't have to wait two years like Ramil Guliyev had to. Maybe because he still so young. It just pisses me off. Both Talbot and Kilty would have been far better choices to go along with Gemeli in the individual 200!

At least England still has white sprinters making some noise. More than I can say for America where whites need not apply!

I really would love to see some of these young guys p.b. this weekend. That would be as good as a Lemaitre double. So good luck
to Cackett, Kilty, Robertson and Gemeli. Show England what your made of guys!

sprinting has become a joke !

not concerned with affletes that have hijacked event for decades just here to vent over annoyance with media and obviously blatant repeated
lying to your face etc. bolt for example , who is left with his last line of defense that he has , as he puts it , been spectaular since 15 ,
no dought that any person that talks about himself in third person like this is capable of bone faced lying .
and once again see in media come up with cop out articles to explain his innocence like the daft article using physics to explain why runs like
does , such article could be used to explain anybody running any time .

dasaolo is on the exact same formula as dwain and 37 year olds setting p.b's.
surprised took them so long to get someone up to speed literally , with what has being going on largely in states
    and carribbean for nearly decade
where did that vascularity come from , and same definition , same shoulders as competition ready bolt or
chambers (guys that react very well to said ped )

fast track supposedly in london so the "so called " british record might go ( inevitable really considering stuff on and results producing )
saying that the conditions in birmingham were pretty good and hard to get better . similarly where robertson got p.b

    simply a joke
have sprinters coming out of all sorts of places , looks like a certain south african will break
the 200m record of morne nagel and maybe the s.african 100m record also .
, and wonder what previous record holders thing of the means used to achieve it .
simple formula ,take certain quite fast young athlete , helps if taller and get him on said ped ,
train properly year after year and e voila .
no coincidense that moved to a u.s.s.a university at 18 years age or so .
nothing short of athletic propaganda .
wada cant do anything , dont think really care . as baseball again shows .

when will you start to believe me that many athletes have started out
very young on this ped ,and very different to steroids which might permantently
damage their kidneys, liver and definitely stunt growth . .selective. as by name goes .
the key to sprinting as always been androgenicity and from a young (mid teens) age .
whether kicks in naturally , or by these means ,.

also someone said that kristopher hari wont progress any further , well if as assume on same formula , and young (lots of natural hgh ) ,
and trains properly could drop .2-.3 by next summer and so on till doen to sub 10 .
time will tell and . wish the likes of him well.
