4 White ladies qualify for the finals in the 100, but sadly Laura Turner is not one of them.

Sailer's 11.06 would have been a new pb if it weren't slightly too windy (+2.2). and she ran that fast despite a poor, stumbling start. well done to white lightning's favorite lady sprinter.

I was glad to see Marian Opera take the silver medal in the triple jump. He has had a very good career and he has always performed well in the big competitions. Our guys finished 2nd and 4th. As Jimmy said, the womens 100 finals is right around the corner.

For those people who don't know track, the white commentator in the striped polo shirt by himself, Johnathan Edwards is the world record holder in the triple jump. No other athlete has ever jumped over 18 meters. His world record is an astounding 18.31 meters!

I'm so happy for her. To run a p.b. of 11.10 into a negative wind is amazing. I wish the the wind would have been positive but who cares. She is the fastest woman in Europe and one of the most beautiful ladies of track and field. Stay back guys. She is mine. Lol.

If anyone else was going to date her, it should be Lemaitre. They could make some very fast kids some day. Haha. I could do that as well. they don't call me white lightning for nothing!

So for all you people that believe that whites cannot sprint. The fastest man and woman in all of Europe are white!

Great to see Lemaitre in the awards ceremony. He looked so happy. You could see the patriotism as he was singing the words to the French National Anthem. Maybe they will pick some different types for their next world cup team.

I feel bad for Johan Wissman. He missed the 200 meters finals but 2/100th of a second. That has to hurt. I don't know what happened to Sebastian Ernst. He run in the 20.30's this year but just didn't show up for the Euro Champs. Lematire should win but it will be dog fight for 2nd and 3rd. It would be really nice to see Hession win a medal for Ireland. He is not gettting any younger and he is such a likeable guy. He also is going to be a doctor in the future.

The 400 meters is going to be as close as it gets. I can't wait for tommorow.

She is still stunning if you ask me. Katrina is like a fine wine as she gets better with age. Do you remember Irina Privalova? Another very talented sprinter.

So happy for Verena Sailer. I've always had a crush on her. I also have thought for a long time that she has some serious talent. She proved it today. Hopefully this can boost her confidence to take it to another level for the rest of the summer and on into next year. Verena is going to be in her prime for London. what is amazing about the women's 100-meter final is that the two fastest women in all of Europe before the Championships (Alena Neumiarzhytskaya of Belarus and Laura Turner of Great Britain) also happen to be White ladies, but they didn't make the final.

there is so much talent out there, but somehow no one in the US seems to realize that our White athletes can do the same thing.

Our track teams always look like our basketball teams. Whites need not apply. What a shame as the amount of talent in this country is immense. If only people cared. Kind of like the dwf's in football. They just don't get it. I'll bet they wouldn't care if the punter was the last white on the team. So dumb and so naive.

Well it's going to be a huge day of track. I for one will be a little sad when the Euro Champs are over. It is so much fun following this meet and talking about events. It is a pleasure and I'm enjoying each and every moment.
