I agree. That's the best outcome. The NFL won't let him own a team after his crime against humanity, e.g., his rather innocuousand true statement about the media wanting to see black QBs succeed.

RUSH: Yeah.

JAMIE GANGEL: I assume you loved that job. If you had it to do over again, would you not have said that comment because --

Today Rush said among other things:

"I have always wanted to be a part of the NFL. I admire the people in it. They are the best at what they do."

sport, great quote! Rush, I believe, is starting to run head first into the racial reality of the NFL and the sports media in general. Maybe he will actually learn something through this experience, like the fact that the people in the NFL are often not the best at what they do. Instead they are there because of anti-white sentiment and AA practices. I hope he does learn that much anyway, but I won't hold my breath.

According to his own statement, Rush doesn't believe the main thrust of CF.

Rush, at least knows the media roots for black players to succeed more than whites (he at least knows it's true at the QB position, so I'm sure he'll be smart enough to question other positions and the "system" as a whole). The problem is, Rush should have picked someone like Vick or Campbell instead of McNabb- when talking about a black QB the media overrates.

Rush may have wanted to distance himself from CF and WN, but I think he may be a guy who would at least let his voice be heard as an owner that a 50% white team in a 70+% white country shouldn't be seen as "racist" against blacks. Rush may very well be aware of elements of a caste system, but by no means would he have the power to put together a 70% white roster- like it should be- anytime soon. Rush would lose his team's support- and a lot of money very quick- if he acted quickly to drastically whiten his roster.

Out of all the QBs, he clearly picked the wrong one. I couldn't believe how dumb that was. If you ask the average dwf how McNabb did in his Super Bowl, they'll say he passed for something like 180 yds and 1 TD. No, he actually passed for 350+ and 3 TDs. If you asked how he did in his latest NFC championship, the avg. dwf will likely say 200 yds when he actually passed for 375 yds and 3 tds. Out of all the black QBs, McNabb has not been given a free pass or unjustifiably pumped up by the media. Yes, McNabb is a pretty good quarterback. He has been to the Super Bowl and in many playoff games.

Of course there's no "forgiveness" from the black controlled player's union for "one" statement by Rush- it doesn't serve the further advancement of contrived black dominance in this farce league.

Maybe if Rush was owner, he could diffuse this situation by drafting an actual capable black QB that wasn't entirely pumped up by the media. I buy the theory that there are serious quotas for black QBs, but I do see some talented black QBs in the FBS like Darryl Clark and Jacory Harris. Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Brown are also very capable. There are certainly black quarterbacks like Terrell Pryor and Juice Williams that are put up on a pedestal way higher than they should be. At least Pryor can make spectacular plays with his legs and probably be a solid backup in the NFL or possibly a wildcat QB.

If Rush drafted a black QB or two, even if they didn't start, it might help take the media pressure off him- especially if he got the opportunity to reexplain his previous statement on McNabb. Rush could even hire a talented black coach like a Dungy, Caldwell or Marvin Lewis that doesn't seem to dislike white players. Then further down the road he might have the power to push for at least a small whitening of the roster- say another Colts or Packers like team. If he did the first two things, how could the media say "wow, what a racist Rush is"? They couldn't say this, even if they believe it or want to say it. This is probably even if there was one white RB and a white WR or two on the roster. Rush could say- "yeah, I'm embracing true racial diversity at all football positions!"

This is what I would do as an owner at first- only further down the road you can bet my roster would be around 70% white. I would be above criticism if my team was winning- as it would be- with my eye for talent. I would also- far down the road- probably still have a fair number of minority coaches and at least one black QB to get the PC police off my back. However, I'd make sure these guys weren't completely there by quotas b/c that just wouldn't be fair.

Campbell was still at Auburn when Limbaugh made his comments in 2003.

As I recall, after he spoke, Michael Irvin said "Rush is right" or something to that effect, and Tom Jackson didn't voice any objections. It was only the next day when the professional agitators sensed a way to get Limbaugh that all hell broke loose and every single influential person in sports "journalism" turned on him and he had no choice but to resign before he was fired.

Man I can not believe that was in 2003! With the MSM media in lock step with the defenders of affelets i.e. race hustlers Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, plus the Playas Union, it will be next to impossible to pull this off.

But if he does it could translate to the tip of the spear in cracking the caste cement that prevents our athelets from succeeding.

That analysis is spot on Don. I do recall that when I first heard about the comment, it was "no big deal". The validity of the comments were actually being debated at first. Then it turned into a media circus and every paper and news outlet was simply out to get Rush within a day or two. If you even so much as considered Rush to be correct, you were a full out "racist".

You could kind of compare this to how Rivals turned on McGuffie (when they got the opportunity when he got hurt his senior year) and then the movement got going and other media outlets quickly turned on him as a legit prospect too. Or how about how the DWFs turned on McGuffie at Michigan after he was out with a concussion, or the Bennett, Curtis, Archuleta or Schweigert hate waves that quickly formed. Once it becomes trendy to bash a white player (or pro white comment), all cultural Marxists (and DWFs) will jump in on cue to denigrate whitey. They will take every opportunity to make sure black is in and white (players/culture/values etc.) is out. It takes courage to be a maverick, but most people just go with the flow because it's easier.

When did McNabb get good as a pro? Before Limbaugh's statement , around the same time as the statement, or after the comment? I can remember thinking for a few years there that there is no way McNabb should be receiving the amount of hype he is receiving, it's all made up. Then, sometime in the season prior to Limbaugh's take on the situation, in my mind McNabb starting looking accomplished. On taking the whole of McNabb's career Limbaugh may have not been that out of line. One thing we know for sure, he was right about the media's cheering for his success.

I think there is a little confusion over what Rush actually said back on September 28, 2003. So, here's his comment in full. He stated that McNabb hadn't been as good as everyone thought from the beginning and that the media wanted a good black qb.

"I don't think he's been that good from the getgo. I think what
he have here is a little social concern in the NFL. i think the media
has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well... I think
there was a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit
for the performance of this team that he really didn't deserve."

Some of you wonder about when McNabb was at his best. Here's his career stats, so take a look. Just comparing his QB rating from 99-03 to 04-09, he improved from 77.56 to 97.45. I'd tend toward after Rush's comment.

That's been debated a fair amount on the board. IMO McNabb has been a good, at times very good quarterback, but not a great one. Certainly his team is almost always a contender each season. His biggest drawback is that he's inconsistent, as he'll go in streaks where his accuracy is poor.

He reminds mesomewhat of Warren Moon. Moon had gaudy statistics and his teams were usually in the playoffs, but always underachieved in the post-season. McNabb has had more success in the playoffs than those Oilers teams, but there has been only the one trip to the Super Bowl, and that was a loss, replete with the worst (and strangest) time management imaginable at the end of the game, when McNabb was supposedly completely out of gas and unable to process information.

McNabb has an excellent TD to interception ratio of 199/91. But -- he has only thrown as many as 20 TDs in a season four times. By contrast, Peyton Manning has played one more season than McNabb (and unlike McNabb isn't injury prone) but has 345 TD passes. That's a huge disparity in perhaps the single most important statistical measurement of a quarterback.

Also, every time McNabb has been hurt, a white backup -- and always a journeyman type or a raw player like Kevin Kolb -- has stepped in and the offense has been just as good if not better. Kolb was mercilessly skewered by the media and DWFs and written off based on a single half of a game against the tough Ravens defense last year, but he played very well this season when McNabb was injured. Brent Celek was pretty much unstoppable when Kolb played; when McNabb's in there Celek is still good but not as productive. Similarly, a receiver like Kevin Curtis would havebeen better servedwith one of the white backup Eagles quarterbacks throwing him the ball rather than McNabb.

Moon remains the only black quarterback who got the most out of his receivers. McNabb has been the next best, but he is still several rungs belowa number ofwhite QBs currently starting in the league.

I think the only reason you're praising Daryl Clark (who hasn't shown the ability to win the BIG GAME against LEGIT opponents) or Jacory Harris (continues to throw picks, even against awful opponents) -- is because the MSM is doing it. There has been a HUGE Daryl Clark "campaign" from even before the season started.

I remember the Limbaugh comment controversy very well. McNabb did not have very good stats up to the point where he made his comment and has been very good since. In fact Rush often comments (humorously) that he was the best thing that ever happened to McNabb, comparing McNabb's pre and post comment career.

And Rush was right, the media is desirous to see a black QB succeed. That shouldn't even be questioned except for the bizzare racial blindness that encompasses the MSM.

Irsay was the coward who snuck the Colt's out of Baltimore via moving vans overnight & gave the (figurative) middle finger to Baltimore fans. I'm not surprised the PC/caste owners wouldn't vote Rush in...for "divisive" (aka - accurate) statements. McNabb is a solid QB, but NOT a great one (like Montana, Marino, Unitas, etc.).

Rush has no chance of becoming an owner or anything else involving the NFL. Hopefully it will open his eyes...

I think he did it to rile the PC waters as more a political message than even the worthless vanity of operating a money losing business in the spotlight of the lie machine of cultural marxism. He is on record as saying on his show that he knew this was coming, and so I believe his entire syndicate knew this going in that the machine of the PC religion would be turned out like a Soviet show trial.
