In my previous topic, I posted Brett's teammate, Bubba Starling, who is an anomoly in the caste system of recruitment. Brett, however is more along the lines of what we are used to here. He is an outstanding RB with excellent size, running over and around top-notch competion at the high school level on a high-profile team, and yet has a ZERO star rating from the BlackLete recruiting sites and will likely end up at an obscure program that we will never hear about. Even though he "somehow" gets over 8 yards a carry against the best teams in Kansas, he's not flashy enough, no "wiggle", lacks the room-brightening smile, etc. I guess D1 teams don't need big, strong, fast running backs that actually gain yards and score touchdowns.
