Yeah, that's the way it is EVERYWHERE. Praise heaped upon
the darker folks, while White success seems to be an
embarrassment, or at the very least, overlooked. Hell, it seems
as if MLB and their media cohorts are overlooking the obvious
drug use by non-Whites in order to speed their success along,
while seemingly keeping a bit more of an eye on Whites. If a
black or latin player gets popped, then any story that comes
along will find some way to work a White player's name in.
The useful idiots in the announcing booths even proclaim
routine plays to be spectacular IF they are performed by a black
or brown.
One more thing on Pujols. On ESPN radio this morning, Dibble
and Patrick were remarking that Pujols is better at his age than
Ted Williams was at the same point in his career. With the
rather crappy pitching these days, not to mention lower
pitcher's mound, drugs, etc. I find that doubtful. BUT, Pujols is a
member of one of the anointed groups.
