from rotoworld:

Jaguars sixth-round TE Zach Miller is expected to be out "for awhile" with a knee injury.

Beat writer Michael Wright expects the Jags to try to hide the speedy rookie on injured reserve. The converted QB is an interesting long-term project, but he wasn't going to contribute much as a rookie.

Zach got injured, it's a shame after a very good showing in his first preseason game. he had a very good camp and he looked like a keeper for Jags, someone who would challenge for some time, not only a roster spot.
not sure what Jags will do at that point qand how long he's out for.

here's a recent camp report on him:

Zach Miller vs. Tim Shaw: This was a battle I was looking forward to, not the match up specifically, but Zach Miller blocking. To my surprise, Miller looked like a pro blocking up Tim Shaw. Both times Miller got a good punch and drove Shaw backwards, Miller lost his helmet one of the times with Shaw trying to get past. Miller's effort and tenacity had coach Mike Tice hooting and hollering and jumping up and down. Miller has been very, very impressive in camp.

rotoworld, again:

The Jaguars installed plays for TE Zach Miller earlier this season and are finally starting to implement them in games.

Miller is coming off a three catch, 74-yard performance against the Texans in Week 13. The sixth-round rookie said he thinks the coaches are becoming more comfortable in his familiarity with the offense. Still, the former college quarterback has a long way to go before becoming anything more than "the other" Zach Miller.

Thanks for the update...looking forward to seeing this emerging threat!!

Amidst the concerns about the disturbing trend of increasing presence of sumo's on the O-Line & DT's...Tight End has been a position that is begining to flex it's muscles in the NFL!

Jason Wittenis arguably the Top TE in the NFL...Dallas Clark must also be mentioned in the equation....but there are plenty more upper-tier TE's...thishas been encouraging!!
Cris Cooley and Owen Daniels wereheaded to thePro-Bowlbefore theirunfortunate season-ending injuries.....

Todd Heap is also in the elite group when 100% healthy....Heath Miller, Zach Miller, Jeremy Shockey, Brent Celek, Greg Olson, Tony Sheffler, Anthony Fasanoare all serious weapons and vital cogs in their offense!!

Kevin Boss & rookie-John Carlson stocks is on the rise too!
