Whats up with that?

I was watching some HUDL videos on rb Christian McCaffrey and I noticed something peculiar. Every time he breaks into the secondary on a run the film speeds up dramatically for a fraction of a second. I noticed it many times as you could see other players movements move quicker as well. Is this supposed to make Christian look faster or do the people at HUDL try to save time by speeding up the video of some of his runs. I saw the same thing on BYU's freshman rb Bryan Engstrom as well. Whats up with that?
