My Daddy brought me a whole bunch of old home movies, ranging from 1990 to 1998, which he, and my Momma had recorded over the years. They are all on VHS tapes which I can only play in a VCR. They are mostly of my sports as a youth. Mainly 7th, and 8th grade basketball, and about 100 rodeos(Steer Riding, and Jr. Bull Riding). I would LOVE to get them on DVD, or at least on my computer, and if possible, Id like to share them with you men. I have some good High School Football footage of me chasing down Quan Cosby(WR for the TX Longhorns) from behind, and tackling him. Also, a 102 yard kick return, and several TD catches. These are fun to watch, because I was 5 feet 5 inches, and just weighed 114 LBs. Is there any way to get them on DVD, and/or share them with you guys?

It would be really cool to see that footage, P-NutLane. Let us know how the conversion process goes.

Video capture device - USB $40
The simplest way to do it.

Video capture card $17
The cheapest way to do it.

I'm not going to vouch for the quality of either of these products. When I want to transfer vhs tapes to my PC, I just record the tv screen with my webcam

. (Which, I guess, is actually both the cheapest AND easiest way to do it.)
