Stated by Michael "crackhead" Irvin.

Ok here's what he said on the Dan Patrick radio show.. pretty much word for word.. they were talking about what a good athlete Romo is and then Irvin said this....

Irvin: "i dont know but some brothers down in that line somewhere... some brothers go down his family line somewhere.. some brothers, somewhere and somewhere.. i dont know who saw what or where.. his great great great great great grandma ran over in the hood or somethin' went down..

Dan Patrick: Oh.. that's the only way he could be a great athlete??

Irvin: no thats not the only way... but its certainly one way... if his great great great great great great grandma pulled one of them studs up out of the barn..come on in here son.. ya know when they was out workin the yards.. ya know back in the day.. (laughing)

Patrick: Alex Haley and Roots here on the Dan Patrick Show (sarcastically)

Keith: lets see if we can all steer out of this skid.. (laughing)

then about 10 minutes later after they hung up with Irvin...

Patrick: wh..where was he going with Tony Romo the only way he can be athletic is somebody in his family tree had to be African American??

Keith: i suddenly had this mental picture of Jimmy the Greek.. didn't you???

Patrick: Yea I did... If we said that???

Keith: UH OH..

they were both kinda stuttering after the phone call...

Yeah, Irvin should be fired right now for saying something like that, so as to follow the standard started with Jimmy The Greek. What wimps, Dan and Keith. That whole exchange ticks me off!

If Romo starts throwing interceptions and fumbling away games then Irvin might have a point.

Yeah, I heard the topic being discussed too. When Steve Lyons was fired for a vague harmless joke, KO went nuts. He said jokes of that nature are not to be tolerated in today's world. He then went on to say that Lyons should have been fired years ago for for being insensitive.

Yet when Michael Crack Irvin makes racial statements portraying whites negatively as he often does, Keith in particular seems always at a loss for words, barely commenting at all. Two - faced hipocrite.

Gentleman, a year ago, this kind of thing would have made me...let's see, how should I put this in a way that Mr. Irvin would understand...ahh yes..."act a fool up in this beeotch." Until we wrestle control of the media away from you-know-who, we're going to have to deal with crap like this. I don't get angry anymore because that does no good what-so-ever, so I just hope that people get smarter and things eventually change for the better. Ironically, the closer we become, statistically, to being minorities in this country, things will get better. As this happens, more and more Whites will have their "awakening" and become like "us", and things will change. So, I have not lost hope just yet.

But, what surprises me the most about this whole ordeal, is the fact that Patrick actually had the balls to say, at least, something in rebuttle. Even if all he did was question him, at least its a start. He could have just sat there with a stupid look on his face and agreed with Crackpipe.

Also, I don't know what these horses-asses are so afraid of. I mean, Irvin was a friggin' reciever for Christ's sake. Its not like getting confrontational with Ray Lewis, where you're life might be in jeopary, as his criminal record so eliquenlty displays. I'll tell you this, if it were Bill Romanowski on the air, I bet he would have had some choice words for Irvin.

As for Irvin, he's basically a puppet that tapdances for my entertainment everytime he says or does something stupid. He digs his own grave (career-wise)everytime he opens his mouth.

Irving is back on the pipe. Look for empty coke cans with punctures in the center of them lying around the ESPN offices. Just a matter of time before he is caught with two sluts in a motel room again....

Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, then I don't know what is. Irvins the real whore here, he's the one that smokes rock and bangs hookers. Also, let us not forget about his OWN women, as black females are the most promiscuous of them all.

Notice how the racist Irvin colors the story to implicate that it was a white woman that cheated with a black man when we all know that almost all miscengenation at that time was typically a black woman getting knocked up by a white man (slave owners).

Even in his racist rant he gets in further digs at whitey and reinterperts history.

What ethnic backround is Romo? I assume Italian on his father's side?

imagibe Steve Young saying that McNabb occasionally makes good decisions and smart ones, must be because his greatgrandmother was servicing a plantation owner back in the day...

Italian? Hmm, Gradkowski is half-Italian too. Maybe they're right when they say being Italian is the same as being black.

This is, of course, a joke, and one my Italian friends make. But no, I don't have them over for dinner.

My grandfather on my mother's side is Sicilian. If someone were to ever tell him (even jokingly) that Italians and blacks are the same...bad things are going to happen. lol. This is a man that refers to the Verrazzano Bridge as the "Ghini Gangplank".

You don't have your Italian friends over for dinner? Why not? I'm sure it's not just because they're Italian, right? Edited by: White Shogun

I have never seen Tony Romo play. Judging from photo's he appears in my estimation to look somewhat Mexican.

It was another joke...a play on the 'I have lots of black friends.'

'Do you invite them to dinner?'

Well, the crackpipe and every other black player in the league don't consider Romo to be black, otherwise they wouldn't be making nonsensical idiotic statements about hookups behind the woodshed two hundred years ago. We're taking this 'who is white' stuff a bit too far if we have to question the heritage of every Caucasian because he has brown hair or brown eyes.

Notice Irvin implied an affair between a white woman and a black man. Not a rape of a black woman by a white man which was a much more common way of antebellum race mixing.
