I was looking for combine times for 2013 football recruits and stumbled upon the Under Armor 2012 Japan combine. Out of about 100 athletes taking place , about 50 being skill position players, only one guy cracked the 40 yard dash in under 5.0 seconds. Is this crazy???? The Japanese year after year produce a massive # of boys and junior 100 meter sprinters ( though they rarely improve at the senior level ) .
Also, the best vertical jump was 29 inches. This can't be right. Does anyone know if these guys were 14 years old or something? If they were all 17 or 18 years old there has got to be some kind of bias going on here or they have different ways of timing athletes over there.
