"TV's #1 Show: The Simpson"Â￾
- poster depicting the Juice's mug shot, doctored so that he's wearing a Bart Simpson hairdo

"Â￾After all the evidence, I can't believe it's not O.J."Â￾
- bumper sticker

This thread (inspired by the sidetracking of a certain thread in the NFL forum) is addressed mainly to qj, but of course, anyone can chime in.

qj, having never been an amateur or professional criminologist (criminology must be your hobby, no?), I never heard of William Dear until you mentioned him. I imagine he is internationally famous mainly in the criminal justice community, but then again, every person become famous or infamous (well, 99.999999% of them) was non-famous at one time. What other investigations has he done, and how'd you come across Dear's video?

And please give us the main points the video, for folks like me who can't afford broadband and don't have the time to watch an 80-minute video buffer away.*

Does Dear

-address Simpson's son's possible motives? (Woody suggests that Simpson may have prompted his son to do the deed)
-mention who planted the blood?

Also, are there other investigations besides Dear's that exonerate Simpson out there?

And as an aside, I never was aware that OJ was a thug before the murders. Give some examples of *that*, qj.

*And before you say "well, *get* broadband"Â￾, I have a neighbor who did, and she has had chronic problems with it.

John

P.S. The poster and bumper sticker quoted above were personally spotted by me in the course of the late '90s.Edited by: foreverfree

Simpson has a no contest to domestic battery. That is on the record. He is alleged to have beaten his first wife, but she never pressed formal charges. He is alleged to have done cocaine as a Bill. His son is manic depressive with a history of violence towards female companions. His son was supposed to have cooked a family dinner at the restaurant where he worked but the dinner was canceled at the last minute and that was alleged to have put him in a rage. Also the son was alleged to have doctored his work punch card that night of the murder. The video seemed credible.

Thanks, white is right.

qj has a point. If we are to continue to think "OJ is guilty regardless of the evidence", this is how prosecution becomes persecution. This is how dictatorships come to be. Let us all remain sane about this.

Hey ForeverFree, thanks for starting the thread in this part of the forum. I would have responded sooner but I just stumbled onto your post tonight.

First of all, you seem interested in the OJ case, which is understandable since most of America was interested in the case back in the '90's. So, anybody who is interested in the case should watch Mr. Dear's video at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7905933759946122795#. The nice part about watching it online is that you can watch it in chunks instead of all at once.

Mr. Dear is a private investigator and helped solve some high profile cases that I do not remember since its been a while now since I last watched the video. If you can't watch the video, then just google William Dear and Simpson. I just did, and here's some cases he's been involved with:

** O.J. Simpson Investigation
(California)</font>
** Exhumation of Lee Harvey
Oswald</font>
** The Disappearance of Teenage
Genius James Dallas Egbert III (Michigan)
**</font> Jerry Sternadel Murder -
Featured on Current Affair
**</font> Dean Milo Murder (Ohio) -
Set international record for number of people convicted
**</font> The "Alien Autopsy"
Investigation featured on Fox TV
**</font> Patsy Wright Murder - Featured
on Unsolved Mysteries</font>
** Beckon Murder (Canada)
**</font> Amber Crum Murder
**</font> Casey Roberts &amp; Robbie
Biggars Murders
**</font> Charles Whitenhafer Murder
**</font> Donna Benevides Murder
**</font> Allen Rehrig Murder
**</font> Olive Dry Murder (Alabama)
**</font> Christie Meeks Murder
**</font> Cherie Ann Kennedy Kidnapping</font>

Like most Americans, I was very interested in the N. Simpson murder, so I watched the trial. It was readily apparent the cops had planted a few drops of blood on OJ's socks as revealed in the trial. Names are mentioned in Dear's video. Well, the LA police have a history of salting evidence in cases against minorities, so it was a slam dunk that OJ would be found not guilty after the police pulled the blood-planting stunt. This part of the evidence is well covered in Dear's video. So, at the time, I thought OJ would be found not guilty just because the police had screwed up the investigation. I think the cops thought OJ was guilty and they were just trying to bolster their case, unfortunately. Most people know that a former husband, boyfriend, etc., are the main suspect in these types of cases. Anyway, I never thought OJ was the actual killer of Nicole because of what I saw at the trial, but I've always been interested in who actually killed her.

A month or two ago, I was listening to Dr. Stan Monteith's online radio program, and Mr. Dear was on the show. If you're a freedom-loving guy, Dr. Stan has pretty good shows. Anyway, Mr. Dear laid out his case on the radio program. You see, Mr. Dear spent SEVERAL YEARS and an enormous sum of money investigating the OJ case.

Mr Dear found out that it was plainly obvious that the killing involved much, much blood. Arteries in the victims had been severed and blood was spurting everywhere. Whoever killed Nicole and Goldman was covered in blood. Yet, only a drop or two of blood was found in OJ's Bronco. No blood was found on the brake or gas pedal. Just as importantly, OJ's house was literally shaken down and placed under a microscope and no blood was found. Impossible if OJ had killed Nicole and Goldman. Then, days later a few drops of blood were found on OJ's socks, but the blood had a preservative in it and the pattern of blood simply did not make sense. This part of the evidence is covered in detail in Mr. Dear's video and is very convincing in my opinion. OK? So, OJ, the supposed killer of Nicole and Mr. Goldman, did not have any blood on him. Oh, and OJ became nauseated at the sight of blood.

Mr. Dear also found out that OJ was in terrible physical condition. The year's of NFL football had wrecked his body. In contrast, Mr. Goldman was a young strapper who knew karate and put up a good fight before he succumbed to his wounds. There was damage on the knuckles of Mr. Goldman's hands. The killer had been struck by Mr. Goldman and probably had been wounded, yet OJ had virtually no marks on his body. Ok? These are basic facts. You can be assured OJ was picked over from head-to-toe by the police.

Oh, and OJ's young kids were suppose to be in Nicole's house at the time of the brutal, bloody murders. Do you really think OJ planned to brutally kill his ex-wife in front of her (and his) little kids. Mr. Dear, an experienced investigator, highly doubts it. I doubt it too. The jury in OJ's case didn't buy the story either and found OJ not guilty in little time.

Mr. Dear also discussed how a typical investigation would take all possible suspects and then try to rule-in/out them as persons who could of committed the crime in question. In OJ's case, the prosecution immediately fixated on OJ and quickly ruled-out OJ's son, Jason, because he was supposedly cooking for 200 people at the time of the murder. So, for this reason, the police did not focus at all on Jason. However, an owner of the restaurant where Jason worked suspected he may have been involved in the crime, so he obtained a copy of Jason's time card. According to the owner, the police were not interested in Jason. Also, at the time of the killing, OJ got an attorney to represent Jason. In addition, Jason's old classmates at a military institute also suspected he was involved in the killing. If the police had checked out Jason, they would have been presented with several eye-openers.

Mr. Dear learned that Jason was suppose to watch his young sister when he was 10 years old, but he failed in this duty (understandable since Jason was only 10 at the time) and the sister fell into a pool and drowned. Apparently, this had a huge effect on Jason. Later, Jason started to have real mental and substance abuse problems when he was a teenager and ended up in psych wards. He also started to attack his female girlfriends (surprise, surprise). Mr. Dear was able to obtain Jason's medical records, and he learned that Jason was taking medication for a rage disorder. He was prescribed Depakote to control the rage but Jason stopped taking the medication shortly before Nicole's murder. At the time of the murder, Jason was on probation for attacking someone with a knife and had recently assaulted his girlfriend. Jason was a ticking time bomb when Nicole was killed. Ok?

Mr. Dear had a couple shrinks peer into the life of Jason and his medical records. One psychologist stated that Jason had a higher propensity for violence at the time of Nicole's murder than 95 percent of former prisoners (!). Ok? Mr. Dear makes a strong case that Jason was a ticking time bomb at the time of Nicole's murder. Yet, police fixated on OJ and never really even began to look at Jason. And since the police were caught (although not admitted) planting evidence on OJ, they do not want to reopen an old wound, no matter what the evidence shows.

The time card evidence from Jason's restaurant is very suspicious as it strongly indicates Jason doctored the card to change the times he worked on the night of the murder. You see, the place he worked had a timecard machine, and he said he punched out on the night of the murder in a deposition, but the card clearly shows it was altered by his handwriting. There's a lot more, but I'm not going to spend all night rehashing what someone else has put in writing here at this link: http://www.victimsofthestate.org/CA/Simpson.htm

As indicated above, Jason's old mates at a military institute also suspected Jason was the killer as Jason was adept at using a knife and learned how to use it at the military institute. Jason also owned and carried a double-edged knife at the time of the murders.

About motive. Well, Jason was a ticking time bomb, and he was going to cook for Nicole and the family at the restaurant where he worked on the night of the murders. However, Nicole changed her plans, and this slight may have led to Jason exploding on her. Jason described himself as a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Mr. Dear theorizes that Jason killed Nicole out of rage and in the heat of a verbal argument or something along those lines. Understandable when you find out about his history. Anyway, check out the above link as it explains much (but not all) of what Mr. Dear has discovered.

Mr. Dear theorizes that Jason called OJ shortly (minutes) after the murders and informed him of what happened. This prompted OJ to rush over the Nicole's house to see what really happened. Mr. Dear feels OJ was completely shocked at what he found and dropped a glove at the scene in a rush to leave as a result. The show evidence also strongly indicates he was at the crime scene; however, only after the blood had started to dry.

After publishing his book about the case, someone came forward and told Dear that he had purchased Jason's belongings when Jason failed to pay his storage bill (as in Public Storage). The guy who purchased Jason's belongings found a bunch of pictures of the Simpson family, a couple of Jason's diaries, his sister's death certificate and Jason's double-edged knife. The pictures show Jason wearing the hat that was a clear match for the black knit cap at Nicole's crime scene. The pictures were dated, and the black cap disappeared from the photos after the date of Nicole's murder. Instead, the color of Jason's knit cap changed after the murder as documented by the date stamp on the photos. Ok? OJ was never known to wear a black knit cap. In contrast, Jason was seen several times in the photos wearing a knit cap, black in color before the murder and a lighter color after the murder.

Now, it's natural to ponder whether or not OJ had Jason perform the dirty deed. Well, I have no idea of whether or not OJ could have done this. Certainly, it's possible, but no one has presented any credible evidence that OJ had a contractor kill Nicole. Do you really think a guy like OJ would offer the contract to murder his ex-wife to his highly unstable, psycho kid? Nah. You would think he would high cool-headed professional, not some hot-head relative. I think that's highly unlikely, but everybody is entitled to their opinions and beliefs. If you believe that, well, that's OK with me as long as it's conveyed as an opinion/belief and not as a fact.

"Also, are there other investigations besides Dear's that exonerate Simpson out there?"

I've read about another theory in which Nicole and Goldman where killed in a drug hit. I have not checked out this theory in detail. I think the theory Mr. Dear has presented is credible and fully presented. It makes sense. However, I encourage everyone to find out what Mr. Dear has to say and come to their own conclusion.

"And as an aside, I never was aware that OJ was a thug before the murders. Give some examples of *that*, qj."

I think that was just answered above by another member of the forum. Perhaps, I've been a little too harsh on OJ. However, the record clearly shows he thumped on his wife. As a result, I consider this behavior to be thuggish. According to a web dictionary, a thug is "an aggressive and violent young criminal."

My point is that the evidence clearly shows OJ did not stab Goldman or Nicole in my opinion. That's why he was acquitted of the killing. However, the evidence also strongly indicates he went to the crime scene after the murder. He also probably knew Jason was the killer. As such, OJ is not innocent, but it's understandable (although not in any way excusable) that he covered up for his son, Jason. Watch Dear's video and read about the case at the links I provided above.

You need to understand that the mainstream (MSM) media often skews the reporting on all sorts of issues. Believe me. If everything you "know" about the OJ case comes from Marcia Clark or the MSM, you've probably been duped just like the DWF's out there with the college football-NFL caste system. I believe the MSM used the OJ case to polarize America among blacks and whites. Again, watch Mr. Dear's video and read about the case above. Very interesting in my opinion.

An article entitled "White women are 12.4 times more likely to be murdered by a black husband than a white husband."

White women who marry a black husband increase their chances of being a victim of spousal homicide by 12.4 times.

In the report, "Fatal Violence among Spouses in the United States, 1976-85,"Â￾ by James A. Mercy and Linda E. Saltzman, spousal homicide is examined along racial lines.
