This WR out of Hardin County(TN) is 6-2 and 185. He can fly. Legitimate 4.40 speed. Even Tennessee is looking at him which is unheard of although TN recruited WR Austin Rogers who played a little last year before getting hurt-shoulder?. Shutt is in the Class of 2008.

HOLY sh*t!!! This kid is the real deal. Hands down he's got great speed, tremendous open field moves, and extreme quickness, and that's only on offense. I was impressed by his play at CB too! He's a bona fide major D1 prospect. That video pretty much sums it up.

This kid is going to be a star.He runs so smoothly. It almost looks like he is just playing with the defense for fun.I love his juking and cutting abiltiy to go along with his exceptional speed.

This kid will be a star if his name gets out there which might be a problem being from TN. He plays in the toughest classification and region so there is no question about his opponents. I guarantee you if his skin was a different color every school would be all over this guy

According to Scout.com, Sam has a one star rating and only has offers from Troy and Arkansas State. What a crock!

Sam Shutt is a wide receiver prospect from Savannah (Tenn.) Hardin
County High School. Shutt, 6-2 and 185 pounds, has to be considered one
of the big sleeper prospects from the Volunteer State. Shutt is a
versatile player that can beat you in different ways. He can get behind
the secondary or take the short pass the distance. Shutt displays good
speed, quickness, vision and instincts as a runner. He has the ability
to make you miss or run right by you. Shutt also shows excellent hands
and concentration and he will go up and get the ball. He is also a very
dangerous kick returner.
