Let's hope Belichick is smart enough to fully unleash Rob Gronkowski's potential:

After taking the field for practice on Friday, Patriots rookie TE Rob Gronkowski said his back injuries are "all in the past." Gronkowski hasn't played since 2008, but he's entering his Pats career at 100 percent. Gronkowski lined up as the in-line tight end in practice, with fourth-rounder Aaron Hernandez lined up wide, in the slot, at H-back, and at fullback.

The Gronk is a tank. The back injury was serious but when he is healthy, he is almost unstopable. The guy is built like a tank. I am very happy to see him in a Patriots Uniform. He will quickly become a fan favorite!

Although this rookie mini-camp excerpt from the Patriots Football Weekly is from almost two weeks ago, it confirms white lightning's assessment of the Gronk:

Elsewhere this afternoon, at one point in the session, the entire team gathered to take whacks at the one-man tackling sled. A lot of players are big and strong enough to lift that thing off the ground, but TE Rob Gronkowski nearly flipped the thing over on one of his reps. That caught everyone's attention on and around the practice field. Quite an impressive display of power.

Gronkowski could be a star on the Patriots. At least now they have gotten rid of overrated afflete Ben Watson who never did much but started many games for them.

I'd feel better about his chances of being a star if the Patriots hadn't also drafted Aaron Hernandez a couple of rounds later. HopefullyGronkowski willstay healthy and his obvioustalent won't be able to be suppressed. Considering that Torry Holt, a once great player who now has feet of cement, is currently projected to be the starter opposite Randy Moss, Gronkowski (and Eddleman/Welker) may have an impact right from the get-go as a rookie.

Is Welker no longer going to be a starter?

He might be on the PUP list to start the season, depends how fast he rehabilitates his knee. He was injured during the last game of the regular season, which is a lot less rehab time than if it had occurred in September or October.

Second-year TE Rob Gronkowski has reportedly been a "man among boys" so far at Patriots camp.

"No one has come close to being able to guard him, or contain him," writes Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald. "He's been an absolute beast." Gronkowski recently made Pats top cover linebacker Gary Guyton look "completely overmatched" in a practice session, and Rapoport says he'd "bet the farm" that Gronkowski makes All-Pro this year. If Gronk didn't have to split production with Aaron Hernandez, we're sure he'd be an every-week fantasy starter.

Rob Gronkowski is being pummelled in the media for hanging out with an adult film star while on break during the team's bye week. He is forced to apologize for such ungainly behavoir. Would this even have registered a blip if it were an afflete?
Patriots' tight end apologizes for pics with porn star
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski apologized on Wednesday for posing in pictures with pornographic film performer BiBi Jones, saying he never meant to hurt the team's reputation.

I have no idea why he would apologize to the Patriots.

They clearely have no problem with salacious sex "incidents":

"Haynesworth pleads no contest to fondling waitress"
In his first public appearance in the city of his former team since his trade to New England, Haynesworth climbed out of a large Cadillac Escalade before entering the D.C Superior Courthouse and pronounced, "Go Patriots!"

Did Haynesworth apologize to the Patriots for being a molester of women?

And Gronk didn't even commit a crime. He was with a willing participant. And all they did was take a picture.

One set of rules for them, one set of rules for us.

Gronkowski was smirking when he was forced to give an apology by agent or team publicist. Many times the pr problems that football players cause for their clubs/league is because of the fact that they are the youngest pro athletes out of the 4 major sports and don't have much life experience. Short of A-Fraud I don't know too many baseball players that are in their 30's that have even minor scandals like this. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7151993

Let see Cromartie had 9 kids with 8 different girls and doesn't pay child support. Gronk takes a picture with a porn star. What really is the bigger problem? Maybe someone should get a picture of Cromartie with one of his whores. Apparently she has also been having an affair with Dan Uggla.

Patriots super slow linebacker, Brandon Spikes, has a SEX VIDEO all over the internet. Where is the outrage from the Patriots over that? No problem, that's just an afflete doing his thang.

There's clearly a double standard for White athletes when it comes to sexual behavior. Just ask Big Ben.

Caption: “Man poses with call girl.â€￾

If I were his coach, this wigger would be forced to apologize to the entire team for having such little respect for himself and his heritage. Being photographed shirtless in the company of a cinematic whore should be an extremely embarrassing position for any real white man. Gronkowski wasn’t humiliated by this act, but rather, he was so proud of this picturesque moment that he decided to broadcast it on a Twitter account for the world to see. The leaking of this photo was, of course, a premeditated, attention-seeking act.

The most disturbing element of this story is the fact that Gronkowski could likely form a great relationship, get married, and start a family with any of the few good white women remaining in the New England area…but instead, he’s wasting this opportunity on a professional fornicator, a glorified prostitute, and a known home-wrecker.

But, hey, perhaps Gronkowski was inspired by his teammate / amateur pornstar, Brandon Spikes?

Contrast Gronkowski’s behavior to that of LT, Matt Light. Light is happily married with three great kids, an avid outdoorsman, humble, etc…

Gronkowski would be well advised to stay away from such elements. He should find a nice gal at church to settle down with. Behaving like a (true) White man, means not giving the appearance of "wh0ring" about.

with 6 games to go Rob is practically certain to beat the NFL record for TD receptions for a TE (13 by Vernon Davis and Gates). he can also reach Kellen Winslow's record yardage of 1290, although he needs almost 500 yards for that, and with Pats offense nothing is ever too clear.

The "Gronk" is having one hell of a year. Just imagine if they didn't have Hernandez. He would be even targeted more. Then there is so many other options for Tom Brady. Still hoping he gets the record. He was a stud in college and has been just as good at the highest level. What an athletic family!

Rob is now second in the entire league in scoring (trailing by 1) - kickers excluded. He is also on the verge of a 1k season, leads the league in receiving TDs and is about to eclipse a TD record for a tight end.

not bad, for a guy on a team with two good TEs and a league leader in yards and catches.

Oh oh! Brady needs to reign in the Gronk.

It looks like Kanye West might have more material for his rumored break-up album full of diss tracks about Kim Kardashian!

Kim and Kanye spent Memorial Day weekend apart while she hosted a pool party at Harrah's in Atlantic City. And according to MediaTakeOut, Kim was spotted flirting and exchanging numbers with a new guy!

Kim and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski spent 30 minutes together at the party "talking and flirting"—and then he slipped her his number!"They were so into each other," a "spy" tells MTO. "I guess Kim is over her whole 'Black Guy' phase and is dating white boys [editor's note: you seriously went there, MTO source?!]."
Kim does love her some NFL players—she's dated Reggie Bush off and on for years, and last year Pats safety Bret Lockett alleged he and Kim sexted while she was dating Kris Humphries. Rob's probably not famous enough for her, though. Would she seriously go from "dating" an international superstar like Kanye to someone who's really known only to NFL fans? Maybe she'll just end up sexting him too while she figures out who her next maximum-publicity "boyfriend" will be.
What do you think? Is Kim Kardashian looking to replace Kanye West with Rob Gronkowski? How much longer will Kimye's "relationship" last? Sound off in the comments!

Nice hurl-inducing gossip article. Gronk should stay away if he knows what's good for him. He'd be better off with the porn star girl!!:icon_rolleyes:

Four arm surgeries in a short time period, pretty ominous news:

Citing two sources, ESPN Boston reports Rob Gronkowski will "very likely" require a fourth surgery on his fractured left forearm to alleviate a lingering infection. The fourth surgery would remove Gronkowski's metal plate and replace it with a new one. The report confirms Sunday morning's Boston Herald story in stating Gronkowski's Week 1 availability could be jeopardized. Gronkowski recently awoke and noticed swelling in the arm, in addition to "discharge" resulting from the infection. The future effects of Gronkowski's four arm surgeries remain to be seen. He now seems likely to miss all of training camp.

If anyone wants a good laugh check out good ole racist Desi Cortez and his article on Gronkowski. He says the Gronk is getting special treatment and his partying is getting out of control. Well, well, well. The best this black pig can do is attack Gronkowski yet all these negro criminals who sell drugs, murder people, and commit armed robberies are playing in the NFL.
