NO white LB??? i cant believe it..

Look at the bright side. All of the good high school running backs will be converted to linebackers and strong safeties in college and will eventually make it in the NFL (like Brian Urlacher and Tim Shaw).

Rivals.com and Scout.com aren't run by former players and coaches who actually know talent. Instead these "expert" organizations are just a bunch of overweight, potato chip eating, online fantasy football loser gurus, who decided one day that since they were so good at picking a fantasy team that they could actually scout high school football players. So right off the bat these guys have never played the game(or at least were decent at it) so they have a sort of white guilt about them. Since they weren't athletic they get the perception that 99% of the other white players out there can't be that good. Instead its black people with all the talent and such. And since perceptions = beliefs you now have a definite belief that whites can't play as well as their black counterparts and that's reflected in their ratings and views of players. Over the past few years Ohio St has recruited non-lineman white players who are never rated as high as their black counterparts so Ohio St gets stuck with top 20 recruiting classes. Yet, when these "top 20" recruiting classes of AJ Hawks, Dustin Foxes, and Mike Kudlas start to become juniors and seniors the top 20 class is now a top 5 ranked team because yes the white guys can actually play. Then you have the "great top 5" classes of Florida St and Miami filled with black players to the ceiling and yet their "awesome" recruiting class only yields a top 25 team. No where near the "top 5" status Scouts.Inc and Rivals.com assigns them.

Some other notes.

This DT is probably just as good, but he isn't on the 100 ---- Sean Cwynar -- (Notre Dame verbal)

Chase Clement is a DE and will most likely play this position on the next level. He is uncommitted and is currently ranked by Rivals as the number 1 player in Louisiana.

LB Brendan Beal is ranked as the number 2 ILB in the nation. He is uncommitted.

Some other notes.

OT Art Forst and QB Landry Jones have dropped out of the 100 and into the Rivals250.

http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key =59142&Sport=1

http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key =54259&sport=1

OG Dan Hoch is no longer in the 100, nor is he in the 250. I wouldn't worry about this though.

Isn't Kyle Long one of Howie Long's sons, who may be pursuing baseball instead of football? He is in the database with no stars and isn't on any of the Rivals lists.

White QB additions to the 100.

Andrew Luck -- (Stanford verbal)

http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=53994&Sp ort=1

Dayne Crist -- (Notre Dame verbal)

http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=45236&Sp ort=1

Mike Glennon -- (NC State verbal)

http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=58084&Sp ort=1

My calculations tell me that there are now 25 Whites on the 100. 21-4=17, 17+8=25!

Throw in a White O-Lineman ranked #102 for good measure.

Matt Meyer -- (USC verbal)
