I doubt very much this change of football code works very often, but Josh Ross is trying out for wide receiver in Dallas soon. Here's the story:

BTW, how does 4.1 (4.30e) for 40 yards compare to your fast guys?

We welcome all white potential NFL players. Of course, running a really fast 40 is great, but catching the ball is also important (critical if you're white), route running, beating jams, holding on to the ball when blindsided by a 100 kilo (speaking to someone outside the US) linebacker, etc.
Of course, if you're black and really fast, those other things aren't as important. Maybe, since nobody knows him over here, Joshua should get a really, really deep, dark tan. That will help him immensely.

I saw this the other day and was surprised to see he wasn't mixed w\poly blood. He's hella fast, but I don't buy into track guys who have never played the game taking up roster spots b\c they can run fast

I will be rooting for him. Still an underdog despite the fact that he is not white. We need to break the caste system! He will show incredible athleteticism but it's all about what he can do with the pads on. Good luck to Joshua Ross!

I guess he's not Afro American, 3/4 white (mother white and father 1/2 I believe) and a fast foreigner so he'll be an oddity in the game.
I just don't think getting towards 30 and starting a new football code works in general.
Add to that he went into depression in Europe in 2007 when he looked ready to push that 10 mark, his performances started to falter and he came home and gave up athletics.
I don't think he's mentally equipped to handle it unfortunately.

If you google news articles on him he talks about how he's recovered from depression and all set for Berlin (didn't happen) and then C'Wealths (isn't happening either) and eventually London (yeah, right). He doesn't seem to be able to settle at a thing now after showing so much when winning all his Aussie titles. His comeback win in 2009 was only a moderate time in the 10.30s and he was mouthing what we were now going to see from him.
Maybe this is it then!Edited by: mastermulti
