Was Plantation Pete chomping on ten sticks of gum during his rant? To use a line from the great comedy Kingpin, Carroll's act is about as fresh as a Foghat concert. Hopefully the Seahawks suck again this season and he either retires or is canned.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll "called out" NFL owners on the league's lack of coaching diversity.
Carroll reportedly spoke about the issue for ten minutes during last week's NFL owners meetings in Florida. Florio said Carroll's comments "were sufficiently strong to make people in the room uncomfortable to the point of angry." He told general managers that "the hiring of minority candidates won't improve until owners accept that there are candidates out there different than themselves." Carroll's impassioned speech comes as the league faces allegations of discrimination in hiring processes -- issues raised by former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores. "He just went off," a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. NFL owners were reportedly "not happy" when they got wind of Carroll's comments. In its ongoing effort to diversify the NFL's coaching ranks, the league recently adopted a policy that would encourage teams to hire people of color and women who would "work closely with the head coach and the offensive staff, with the goal of increasing minority participation in the pool of offensive coaches that eventually produces the most sought-after candidates for head-coaching positions." The league's Rooney Rule -- requiring teams to consider coaches of color in their hiring cycles -- has done little to increase coaching diversity.

Can you imagine if we had a coach that would speak out like David Duke? We know it would be career suicide but maybe if a few did it, more would have the courage to do so. I doubt
it but it just crossed my mind. The biggest problem is that anyone around the world that sticks up for whites and our rights is deemed racist. Well then say sure I'm racist if it means
that I don't want to see an entire ethnicity(whites) genocided and left out of every aspect of society. This anti white would make me want to throw up. Especially to see a nation of
cucked whites at every level. They do it for the money and fame. It's still no excuse but then you have dwf's who actually believe all whites are bad just like Orange Man bad.

Wow. Outta sight and beautiful. The article says he was released from the Chiefs back in 2009 after "using gay slurs". LOL! So let's add in this this new "hater, hater, hate speech" crime and yep, he'll be suicided by the cabal pretty soon. Oh wait, the cabal doesn't exist, right? :D

He is a devout christian and a truther on top of it. I remember I used to read his comments on twitter and other places. He has been fighting this BEAST SYSTEM for
a very long time and he is wide awake. I will pray for him and his family. He has kids and is teaching them about God and Jesus.

If Wigger Pete wants to increase diversity at the coaching position, he should resign and give his job to some black transgender lesbian non-binary genderqueer. There should be an ample supply of those in woketurd Seattle.

The gum-chomping wigger "making people uncomfortable to the point of angry" will be cheered by the usual suspects with the typical lies of "speaking truth to power" and "making the privileged uncomfortable," but Carroll is actually the one with unearned privilege because he holds the same far-left political views as the people who control the media and the Narrative, and the others in the room with normal, non-woke views are less privileged. If someone had told Wigger Pete off, THAT would have been speaking truth to power.

What Carroll did was no different from a devoted Communist going on a pro-Bolshevik rant in the middle of Red Square at the height of Stalin's power.

Exactly. In the old Soviet Union, Jewish led communists used ethnic minorities to justify purging ethnic Russians from many top positions. Of course, many of those Russians were replaced by Jews. It is the same strategy. Use ethnic minorities, women, and poor people as a justification to promote the idea that the European caucasian christian leadership in the country doesn't have the moral right to be the governmental and community leadership of the country.

Or, just as with Aaron Rodgers, many rushed to judgment based on a single incident in which Mayfield took the "wrong side."

I’ve always been on your side of the Carson Palmer argument Don. I try my best not to criticize White QBs too much as they really have to navigate some tough racial issues internally while being hounded externally by a rabid media.

I just hope that Mayfield has had a red pill moment. Supposedly Beckham and Mayfield were “friends off the field”. Cleveland decided to release Beckham and the media went on to vilify Mayfield for the release. Beckham has never once come out to support Mayfield - just goes to show Beckham’s character (or the lack thereof). If I recall the fathers of both Beckham and Kareem Hunt went on social media to criticize mayfield and neither player ever stood up for Mayfield. This could also extend to Jarvis Landry who has done nothing for Mayfield.

Perhaps the naivety has worn off of Mayfield when it comes to racial politics in the locker room. On another note I have noticed more and more black players are trying to “recruit” each other on social media - whether through free agency or hoping that the team drafts a player. This is another newer dynamic coming into focus as blacks continue to double down on the racial spoils system.

I’m still laughing at this comment

Carroll should be vilified for how he left his school in the midst of a pay for play scandal that happened on his watch. While student athletes bore the brunt of the sanctions Carroll caused, he basked in NFL pay checks. I see he’s still trying to stay ahead of the mob by screaming at others to keep heat from himself.

Retired coach Mike Mularkey is taking a brave stand against the "racist" NFL. Apparently, he was told by someone within the Titans brass in 2016 that he'd be getting the head coaching job as soon as they got through the sham Rooney Rule interviews. He is claiming to have been deeply disturbed by this episode and now seeks to establish racial justice for all the black coaches who have ever been passed over. Apparently, a couple more negroes are hopping onto the Brian Flores "civil rights" lawsuit, expecting a big payday from whitey to compensate for their stalled careers.

What the media coverage purposefully omits (and Mularkey neglects to recall) is that he had been on staff at Tennessee since 2014, was named the assistant head coach in 2015 (an addendum to his primary role as tight ends coach), and had already filled in as interim head coach for the entire second half of the 2015 season. It is very unprofessional for a company, sports franchises aside, to 'guarantee' jobs or promotions informally, as Mularkey is alleging here. This was surely done in confidence by someone who trusted him as a measure of courtesy, encouragement, and vote of confidence.

Think of how absurd it would be to object to this treatment in any other professional setting. You are a tenured manager that has been covering your departed former boss' job duties, and you're in line for the official promotion after a formal interview process. Someone you've worked with for the past two years takes you aside and says not to worry about it. This gnaws at your soul because you feel a historical guilt for all the external candidates who won't actually get a chance to take over your role, and who would in turn likely replace you altogether. It boggles the mind. This could only be the attitude of a man who watches his own wife make love to other men and who grooms his grandkids to be gay by ordering the Disney+ channel.

I think some of these ultra-cucked wiggers like Mularkey and Carroll have this obsessive "Dances With Wolves" syndrome where they imagine they're the only good white person in the entire universe, and it's their sent-by-jeebus duty to become the Supreme Leader of all the oppressed brown people while condemning every other white to slavery or execution. Cucks like that are unworthy of being debated with, and should only be ridiculed as the freaks they are.

Steve Wilks was added to the Federal discrimination lawsuit against the NFL. (Wilks was butthurt that Kliff Kingsbury was hired over him.)

He states: “Black coaches and candidates should have the exact same ability to remain employed and become employed as White candidates.” I agree. As such, the Rooney Rule is illegal and should be stricken.

It is funny how the absurd Rooney Rule is coming back to bite the NFL in the ass.

I wonder if Steve Wilks feels the same about White athletes getting the same opportunities.

Mayfield connected to the Panthers. Bum Robby Anderson has made it know he does not want Mayfield to end up in Carolina. Anderson has campaigned for both Watson and the Toucan though. Anderson is a caste system beneficiary - one season out of six where he had over 1000 yards and is treated and talked about like a number 1 receiver.

I saw a couple of tweets by Anderson about Mayfield. They didn't say why he didn't want Mayfield, only that he didn't. We can guess why - Mayfield is white.

When Anderson came out in the draft I read a comment about him by someone who went to the same school Anderson did. He said Anderson was "as dumb as a post."

Anderson was stopped by a policy officer and threatened the family of a police officer and threatened to rape his wife. As far as I know there were no major consequences for him.

Thanks. I've always considered "Dances with Wolves" to be one of the most overrated movies of all time, along with "Avatar" (which was literally just "Dances with Wolves" in space).

They should dump Robbie Anderson, trade for Mayfield, draft a stud offensive linemen in the 1st, draft Alec Pierce in the 2nd and then another offensive linemen or two in 3/4.

Anderson is a bum...I agree! I do think at this point Mayfield is a better option than Darnold (pains me to say as I was a big supporter of Darnold and thought he would be a very good QB). The Seahawks and Panthers are the two most obvious destinations for Mayfield. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

If they had more draft capital then that would be an excellent plan, but the problem is that after pick #6, they don't get to make another selection until the end of the 4th round. I get the sense that they'd like to move down from #6, but in such a weak draft class they won't be able get much of a haul because there aren't any players that a team might want to move up for.

Three seasons in the NFL is a good length of time to accurately determine whether a draftee is a bust or a steal. Looking back at the 2019 draft, out of the players selected in rounds 4 through 7, four have made the Pro Bowl so far. They are DE Maxx Crosby, WR Hunter Renfrow, K Matt Gay, and P Jake Bailey. What do they all have in common...

There were 152 players selected on day three of that draft class, and 42 of them were white. If the distribution of players was truly random, the likelihood of selecting 4 pro bowlers from that group and all of them being white would be (42/152) x (41/151) x (40/150) x (39/149), which is about half of a percent.

Two more white players, A.J. Cole and Jack Fox, went undrafted and also made the Pro Bowl (as did Deonte Harris, who's black). If I could find the total number of white and non-white undrafted players from that class, I could calculate those odds too, I'm sure they'd be even slimmer. If the proportions are approximately the same, I'd estimate that the combined odds would be about a fifth of a percent.

And that's just one year. I'm sure that this behavior is not at all anomalous and would be observed in most other draft classes to about the same degree. Take note, lurkers, the math doesn't lie.

The MSM keeps floating the bizarre idea that the Browns might release Baker Mayfield. Since the Browns will owe his entire $18 million dollar salary, this makes no sense whatsoever, especially since Watson may be suspended to start the season.

At the very least the Browns could trade him to a team for a 7th round pick and have them pick up $1 million of his salary. It would be easy for them to make such a deal and they likely could do much better. They'd still be ahead of the game compared to just outright releasing him.
